well just wanted to vent a lil about my monday.....gotta call at work around lunch time from my fiance tellin me my apartment was broke into, so i busted ass home in the SS and saw the cops and the forensic cops taken prints.....turns out the broke the door open with a crow bar, stole my 32" TV......brand new XPS 400 dell cpu with 19" flat screen....digital camera.....2 brand new 10" subwoofers in my bed room (awaiting their spot in the mini truck).....2 watches, and alot of other shit....anyway come out to be about $6000 worth of stuff.....lucky i got renters insurance....but still its just rediculous people are such good for nothing losers that they have to steal all of what someone has worked hard for....really sucks....and i had tons of pics of both my trucks on my CPU and now im worried they are gonna come back to mess with those, think imma look for a new place to stay....anywayz just thought i would say i F'in hate people who steal and cant believe this happen to me.....so lock up your house and watch out for losers like who ever stole my shit L8 yall Cole

i might just go back with regular oil and start changin it all every 3000, or i might just go by the oil monitor till i change again with royal purple...i dunno, but definately keep using wix filters

ok well i run royal purple and it says to just change the oil filter every 3000 miles and to change the oil every other time you change the filter....so when i change the filter should i reset the oil monitor? or should i just change it all when the oil monitor says? i also use WIX filters....any help would be appreciated! thanks who cares about MPG can someone answer this for me??

up date on this is i went to the dealership where i bought the truck and they are gonna replace the whole track system for the sunroof, free of charge!! gotta love that warranty....so anyone with a silverado i would go check the arms and track of the sunroof to make sure none of it is cracking

personally on a 4x4 i think you should lift it and put the 20" wheels with bfg all terrains or some mud tires. that would look sweet.....just dont like wheels that wouldnt do shit off road with a 4wd.....doesnt make much sence......, but if it was 2wd.....looks pretty good i would lower it though

A CRACK IN THE ARMS THAT MOVE THE SUNROOF....HAS ANYONE ELSES DONE THIS? YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE SUNROOF TO SEE THE ARMS THAT PULL IT DOWN THE TRACKS

i was out cleanin the ss the other day and was rain xing the windsheild and had the sunroof open and was lookin at the tracks and arms and all on the sunroof to make sure nothin was wrong and noticed a crack looked like in the arms that move the sunroof!! has anyone elses done this?? its still under warranty but was just givin everyone the heads up to check it out....L8

ok i have the 05' 2wd SS and everytime the truck leans or goes over a bump the passenger side ex. cab door jam squeaks like a creakin noise really, it drives me nuts...oiled everything in there and just cant seem to figure out where this or what this is from, wondering if anyone elses trucks do that? Also on the 2wd versions i noticed that it doesnt have the disc brakes anymore on the back and was wondering why....that seems kinda cheesy to have a SS Performance truck with rear drums....i dunno? anyways any info is appreciated...later on yall Cole

ok i know i have questions about towing on here before but now i have a new one....well my normal truck that i tow, my bodydropped nissan, is in the shop and im hittin up a show in millington TN, and im towing a 49' mercury with a 355 chevy engine on a 18' open car hauler...(since i cant take the nissan ) and im coming from NC which is about a 12 hour drive....do yall think i will have any problems doin this? taking into consideration some of this is through the mountains....my SSS is 2wd not awd....of course has the 6.0 though....but i would hate to do anything to ruin the truck...anyways heres a link to the pic of the car ill be taking http://www.streetsourcemag.com/issues2/vie...1AM19951_tn.jpg please lemme know somthin guys....the show is labor day weekend at the USA stadium in millington TN

just wondering if anyone has a truck box in their SSS....i was gonna put one in mine...probably the black diamond plate one that sits down inside the bed.....do yall think this would be a bad idea? i mean i drive this truck everyday and would like a place to keep my tools/towing stuff because i use this truck to tow my mini truck to car shows...any info would be appreciated, or some pics of SSS with tool box...thanks COLe
