  1. well if the above doesnt make people hate me the following will for sure... my company is getting a TV documentary show (warner bros production), kinda like american choppers or dog the bounty hunter... filming starts in October, a full season - 12 one hour episodes initially, and yea, I will be the guy in charge and on camera... LOL... and yea, that is all I will mention for now...

i hope it's not early to say congratulations on the new show! i'll definetley add you to my series record list

and since i won't bother asking you for any part hook ups, maybe i can get a guess spot on your show? or even some extra work?...

    :jester: J/K!

  2. Finally, to put it another way...I've spent more money on my truck than Dave has... at least up till now. :jester: However I have maybe half the stuff he has and if I could do it again after seeing the work he's put into sponsorship to get those parts...I still wouldn't do it his way, I don't have the ability or the drive necessary to do it, and I already have a job, spank you very much! :smash:

:withstupid: to an extent, i know right now i dont have the time or stability to do what he did, but future permitting, i could definetley see myself doing all that stuff...

on another note julian, where have been?.

i dont see you around here much?..

and dave do you realy have to ask why people wont say shit to your face?... lol. :jester:

i'm nowhere near as big as you and when poeple say shit behind my back and they back down or bitch out when confronted about it? :wtf: i like to call it "THE CHIHUAHUA COMPLEX" :jester:

you've had to notice how small dogs always bark and panic whenever anyone unfamiliar is around.. where as the majority of big dogs realy don't care.. it's because the small dogs have an inferiority complex and always feel threatened, the big dogs know they can defend themselfs so don't have the need to panic and act agressive to compansate. same thing goes for people imo.

  3. I'm a month behind on mine right now. It sucks dude, I am busting my a$$ to make the 655 a month payment but with the prices of everything going up the wife and I are having to redo our budget all the time to make room for more expenses. Heck I live less than 15 miles from work and I still spend almost 400 a month in gas for the both of us to drive a vehicle each month. You will get something better after all this is over my friend. Keep your head up. We will be right here with ya

same here man, i just stated adapting to late was my problem :banghead:

I bought the truck, and was able to keep it at making $6.50/hr, now making $10.27, I made the mistake of getting more loans that I didn't need, like getting that RZR. I am lucky though, all I need is a part-time job on the side for 6 months to get myself out of this hole. If there was/is a way I can help, I'll do my best to lend you a hand.

i guess i'm not the only one that has a hard time saying no to things just cause suddenly i could afford it, seems to be a common problem.. i've learned my lesson though (i hope)... and i realy appreciate the offer it means a lot.. if i think of anything i'll let you know, but for now i think i'm starting to get everything squared away.

What a bummer! I guess you owe more than you can sell it for? :(

i owe $28k so yes more then i can sell it for. i see SS's for about $20-$22k with similar miles and from 05-07. but if someone wants to take over it i'll ask gm but i think that ship has sailed?...

  4. Just look for the rainbow after the rain.

Starting to look like I ain't too far behind you.

    thanks,

and lets hope you're able to avoid what i'm going through. it's very depressing and sucks to lose something you worked on so hard.. so if you think it's possible that you might be in the same boat, if you can avoid it take action now don't wait until it's too late like i did.

  5. what exhaust are you running/

no brand it's custom, duel 3" into 2 flowmaster super 40's... but in all honesty i did'nt do a great job i ordered the wrong mufflers online i was supposed to get offset in center out i got center center so they always hung a little too low.. i'm just going to keep the pipes and mufflers for whatever i get in the future. you know maybe i'd sell 1 flowmaster and keep the other, how about $50?... let me know.

and to everyone else the spindles, intake, and thermostat are still available.

  6. pm sent

    replied

Pm sent. I want the pipes.

    headers are yours.

damn wish i had the money for the rear end and spindles. been wanting to do the 14 bolt swap in my truck. free bump for a fellow C.K. fan

i don't know about you but i cant wait for september to roll around so i could get my smallville fix :D not to mention supernatural and hero's will be back too!

Hey superado what's left! Very interested in the spindles, t-stat, and intake. Well what's left??? Local pickup!

    pm'ed you

Can you please take some pics of the rotors. Thanks.

will post some pics of the rotors and other parts tomorow.

  7. as a lot of you probably know already i'm going to have to return my truck soon, so i'm selling all my stuff that i have left...

belltech 2" drop spindles part# 2508 $180 plus shipping... i never used them i got them from another member in a trade, and could'nt afford to have them installed. so there ready to go.

    sold....

pacesetter headers part# 72c2265 there ceramic coated and have only been on for about a year, maybe 7k miles on them. i used the cheap gaskets that came with them and i always had a small leak, so once there off you could have them surfaced or do what i was going to do and again could'nt afford to get around to and thats by the deadsoft aluminum gaskets i seen on ebay for $30.00

but anyway there welded at the collecter i will cut them off a couple inchs ahead so you can add your exhaust from that point back. if you need pics let me know?... $250 plus shipping

    pending sale....

twin scoop fiberglass hood (pic below) i gave $350 for it on ebay a year ago and never could afford to have it installed and painted being it's fiberglass it's going to need some adjusting and work to get the gaps right.. but it's not bad, i can send detailed pics upon request. $250 local pick up only.

volant cold air intake 15013/15153? (have to go check to see which it is but either will work on are trucks), with recharge kit (cleaner and oil about 80% full) perfect condition, i will clean the filter before it's shipped i still have the original box and instructions. $195 plus shipping

    SOLD.........

also i have a sir micheals steel roll pan with flip down plate kit and a hidden class 3 hitch, i will sell for $275 plus shipping.

roll pan is sold, hitch is still available....

i have some aftermarket tail lights i will trade for stock ones or sell for $50 plus shipping.

i have a 160 degree thermostat i got from summit i'll sell for $20 plus shipping.

i have some slotted brake rotors i never used i bought on ebay from a guy who traded his truck in he says after he put 5K on the rotors they look good and i think there powerstop but if anyone can tell me how to check let me know.. i'll sell them for $70 plus shipping.

    SOLD....

i have addco swaybars front and back that i ordered before christmas again never installed new in the box never opened i can open to inspect them before shipping them out if you'd like. the part numbers are 631 and 741 if you need to make sure it'll work on your specific model truck just go to addco's site and call them there is a number in there contact section. i paid $265 plus shipping i'll take $225 plus shipping.

also please don't flame me on this next offer i'm just throwing it out there.. i've invested about $14k in this truck in payments and as it stands even when i give it back gm will stick me with balance of $13k-17k because they sell it auction and i'm stuck with the rest.

so if anyone is interested i'd be willing to swap drivetrains if some has a 4.8 or 5.3 they want to upgrade.. my truck has 17K miles and is in perfect running condition, it's a LQ9 obviously with a 4L70E trans and 14 bolt 4.10 rear axle (and yes it is a factory gt5 rear :( ). of course you would have to swap in a running drivetrain or pay to have someone do it. i would like $2k for it all or $1200 for engine, $600 for trans and $700 for rear end. i've already found out any 03 up V8 drivetrain will swap in place i would prefer it be an 05 or newer since it's got a drum brake rear. if no one is interested thats fine i'll just return it with the drivetrain, but i hate the idea of giving them back my truck being that although they have the legal right to take it back legal and moral are 2 different things and it is part mine since i invested so much into it but they don't care about the consumer they care about making as much money as possible... ok i'm starting to

but i just feel betrayed in a way since i offered to start making the payment again but they wont allow me to do that since they want it all or the truck.

afa the items for sale i'm in victorville and local pick up is free... any questions just let me know.

EDIT: I'VE ADDED PICS OF THE FRONT AND REAR SWAY BARS PART#'S 631 AND 741. ALSO OF ROTORS

  8. Yo Dave, sorry to hear about your loss, I know how much your truck meant to you.

Always remember, everything in life happens for a reason, we dont have to like the reason or understand it but we have to accept it and learn from it.

    Take care buddy.

    Mike

    definetley mike,

no matter how bad things get it could always be worst.. and i know for a fact god had his reasons for all the stuff i've been and i'am going through.. so i always try to look for the lessons and look at the bright side.

damn man sorry to hear that.. i feel your pain.. back a few years ago i was really struglin and i had my 69 camaro up for sale i cant tell u how many times.. and when some one would show up with cash i just could sell it .. i pissed a few guys off..haha.. but i didnt have a family so i could go with out a few things and it was just me and no one else with out lil things like power... heat food.. altho i did figure out i could heat my house with my grill for alil while.. but everything smelled like hotdogs and just made me hungry..haha..anyways anuf of that...if you where up to date could u still afford the payments? what im getting at is if u sold some of your mods off id bet you could get caught up on the payments.. and be back to square one.. but if you cant make the payment then its probly better to just let her go as bad as that would suck but it wont be so stressfull with out that payment.... good luck man .. remeber is just a hunk of steel at the end of the day.. but i feel your pain i get really attached to cars also

    hey rice eater,

i really needed the laugh that was funny! :jester: and i figure on getting about a grand or so out of the stuff i have left so that aint gonna cut it.. but thanks anyway!

  9. keep your head up and remember thousands of ppl are going thru your same situation.....times are very bad right now.

    thanks,

yeah i know the economy is horrible i think they are lieing about it only being a "recession" it is starting to look like the begining of a depression, but then again i'm looking at it from my eyes so i dunno :dunno:

I just went through the SAME thing back in December, as some guys on here already know. It was tough for me to let it go, but it's for the better. Less stress knowing you don't need to make a huge payment every month. I found it SO much easier to let it go when I parted it out. After all the mods were removed, it was like a stock truck, and I didnt even WANT it anymore. Keep your head up, life is easier without payments in this economy right now. Any questions on this feel free to PM me man, I've been through the exact thing your going through! Just do the same thing I'm doing, driving a beater with no payments, banking money and building my credit, and in a few years, hopefully I'll be back in the driver seat of a bad ass ride!

i sold my wheels and tonneau a while ago so i could afford to move, thinking maybe i could start making my payment again but thats not good enough for gm they want all the back payments so thats that. i have an impala i bought last year before things started to get rough so i should be ok as far as a car, but we realy needed two.. it's going to be tough sharing it all the time.. or at least until i can get something i can afford.

Hang in there, and like previously stated................there will be other vehicles. Things take time, and people do make turnarounds.....................................

i know i've had so many cars and trucks it would take days for me to talk about them all.. so i'm not worried about getting something else later... it's just i was so attached to this one, it was probably the most i enjoyed any of them, and i had some cool cars growing up. things will start to look better pretty soon i hope once the benifits of the move and other things start to take affect.

sorry to hear the bad news. another truck will come along. take care

    thanks, and i will

im sorry to hear your losing the truck. i wish there was something we could do ill buy some of your stuff if i can buddy

i'll be posting some stuff in a little while, any help would be appreciated.

I understand your pain. We're digging ourselves out of debt for the SECOND time in our lives. You'd think we'd have learned the first time. Definitely take this as a lesson learned. Credit can be good, but it can also be evil. It really sucks, but you can do this. Get intense with it, it's only temporary. Check out Dave Ramseys site. link

you know at one point i was paying anywhere from $1500-$3000 a month on my american express alone my overhead was at about $6000 a month give or take.. now it's about half of that so i should be able to manage soon enough. me and my wife talk about it all the time, how it's so great not to have all those bills anymore and worry about paying everything not to hurt my credit.. but at the same time the world revolves around what your worth on paper, and to be frank i can wipe my ass with mine!.

so as much as it helps to not have such a heavy load is about as much as it hurts to know your so restricted in what you can and cant do.

damn fellow superman fan i'm sorry to hear this but like everyone said family comes first

for sure, it's supermans ideology that makes me such a huge fan. so of course my fam is #1

    thanks.

Sorry to hear the news! Just remember, there is always a silver lineing in every black cloud! Keep your head up, along with your spirits!

thanks, i've always been an optimist.. but sometimes it's good to plan for the worst as well thats 1 big lesson learned on my part.

thats sux man. i understand you position. ive been there. i hope every thing works out for you and your family.

    i appreciate it

  10. I learned and you will too. everyone has to go through it some point. good luck man and i hope your next truck is just as good looking as this one. hang in there man

    Kenny

    thanks kenny,

life has it's ups and downs i just happen to be in a down part now... but i know it will get better.

the good part is the learning experience, i know i'll come out a little wiser in the end.

Damn man really sorry to here that your losing the truck, but hey you can always find another truck make sure you and your family get everything they need first these trucks are bad ass and yeah im attached to my truck like you are to yours but your fam comes first man, dont worry tho another truck will find you, usually after things like this you will come back better then ever.......hope for the best for you man good luck

    thanks erekk,

i thought about kicking my family out to save some cash i figured i could sleep in my truck and it would be problem solved... J/K. of course my fam comes first my kids are my heart, and my wife, has stuck by me and tried to help as much as possible every step of the way so it means a lot. so as long as i got my family i'll be ok, this is just depressing but not the end of the world.

Sorry to hear the news. :( Everybody is hurting with the current state of the economy.....many cut-backs at my office have gone on recently, including my 10-15 hours of OT per week. As a result, now I don't make enough to pay my bills either. :sigh:

i hear'ya on that, once i started losing my credit i should of tried to lower my monthly budget then, but i thought i could have my cake and eat it too... lesson learned.

Hey man wow sorry to hear about what your going through!! i hope everything works out for you dude!! Best of luck!

    thanks

  11. I feel your pain, trust me. Before the SS I had a z71 that I had to turn in. I was literally sick for days.

    tell me about it :(

but besides my probs welcome to the site!

    wish you the best luck.

    thanks!

that sux man, sorry to hear that. dont worry before you know it you'll bounce back and be buying a denali or something. best of luck with everything

denali... I WISH! LOL... i think if i get another truck it will have to be about $300 a month for me to afford it and not stretch my newly reformed budget. so if you can find a denali for that payment sign me up!... lol. but thanks for the support anyway

So sorry to hear this dude. Hey dude I will try and help you on any for sale items you have. To help you with ur debt!

the vulchers are circling already... :wtf:

nah just kidding! :jester: i would greatly appreciate it if you bought some of my stuff when i post it all tomorow, the prices will be fair so keep an eye for it tomorrow.

  12. Damn, sorry to hear that.

I don't no your financial backround, but maybe take this as a lesson learned?

man i never got a reply so quick in the 2 years i've been here, lol.

and yeah, thats kinda how i'm trying to look at it.. i'm still young i know i'll bounce back from it eventually.

sorry to hear the news man! you gotta remember, there will always be other trucks.

i know, i've had an 03 an a 05 silvy before this and loved them to but always wanted the SSS and the Vmax had everthing that i realy wanted in the SSS but without the price.. + i did way more to this truck then the others and i was never part of a group like this before, so it made my truck that much more special to me... the gtg i went to last year had to be the highlite for me.

Sorry to hear that man. Its probably real hard to lose the truck.

to say the least, it's like a silent part of the family to me, whenever my wife would complain about me spending to much time either working on it or planning future mods searching the web or coming on here i'd take it offensively.. like she was picking on a my fam :dunno:

  13. :( well guys i've been trying to fight it for a while. i've had a real tough time since last year.

besides losing a lot of my credit and everything i worked on for so long for me and my family's future, i tried to at least keep the cars. but appearently gm will only take so much there refusing to take payments on my impala until i catch up on the truck and i'm way to far behind to do it. so it looks like i'm going to have to return it soon since i'm now 2 months back on the impala and as hard as i'm trying to save money it's not going to be enough to keep the truck, even if i were to start making the almost $600 payment again gm wont except it, they want all of the back payments and thats about $2400 going on $3000 soon... i even moved recently to save $500 on rent since i really did'nt need the huge rent i had. and the worst part is i invested about $14000 in it over the last 2 years and thats before mods :banghead: and even when i give it back there going to sell it at auction and stick me with the 13k-17k that will be left on the loan after what they sell it for... so i'm getting screwed all the way around, and i really loved my truck and enjoyed it more then any vehicle i ever had (and i've had TONS) i'm really attached to my truck and i wont be able to get another one at a price i could afford.. i looked already my dad offered to help me out but all the SSS or V-max's i found will still be close to what i was already paying.. so i'm going to be without a truck for a while until i can find something i can afford. i'm still going to be around here though i've grown attached to this forum, the vibe here is better then any other forum i've been on, and most everybody on here is cool.

p.s. i'm going to be posting up all my stuff for sale in the for sale section very soon, probably by tomorow.

    later.

  14. Wow Nissan huh....I guess you were ready for a change. Why not stay chevy though? My VortecMax is rated at 10,500 lbs or even the HD?

:withstupid: and if not chevy at least a domestic i like the dodges more then the fords cause there turds as far as performance.. but they do a good job towing with there broad torque curve. at least with chevy and dodge you could haul ass or a trailer ford's only good for towing. i'm not saying anything bad about the nissan, it's not my cup of tea afa styling but it's ok all around. i just wish everyone would support are domestic companys more, and i don't want to start all that well there built here stuff, the money still goes to japan so in the end it hurts are economy and what they supply in jobs does'nt equal what they take out.
