  1. On an American Airlines packet of nuts --

    'Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts.'

    ( say what?)

    On a Swedish chainsaw --

'Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals.'

(Oh my God..was there a lot of this happening somewhere?)

    these were my favs!

  2. I would guess that with the 5 speed you could pick up some milage if you had the gearing right. The NV4500 is a very tough trans, but doesn't like to be shifted hard. It is considerably stronger than the NV3500, but still a purpose built truck transmission.

so trying to get one for performance purposes would'nt be a good idea?.. could'nt switch to a heavier clutch (centerforce or similar) or switch the shifter to something like a b&m or hurst?.. for some occasional track use?... i probably won't do it anyway but it was always a thought in the back of my head  lol.

  3. Order me a SS in red. Cant wait till they come out. Only bad part is the mark up there are going to have for the 1st yr...

:withstupid: i think i'll have to wait until the lease is up on my impala.. so i'll be looking at them in sept 2010. :banghead: with 292hp even the v6 sounds like it would be a fun car.. i had a 96 bird with 200hp 3.8 and a 5 spd, and it was fun to drive, imo.

Yeah, bro the t-tops are an awesome option.

yeah i had the t-tops on the bird and a older camaro i had back in the day and i always loved them.

  4. thats cool guy's... i just wanted to make sure no offense was taken. it's good to see everyone still has a sense of humor :jester::cheers:

btw stitches, if i'm ever up in your neck of the woods i'd be happy to have a beer with you... i just don't ever want to see you in my rearview!...lmao!

  5. Cops are people just like the rest of us, they just chose the only job, besides a solider, where they could get shot just for doing their job and I respect that, so there aint nothing wrong with them, or anyone, pouring back a cold one from time to time.

    Thanks Dave

i'm totaly aware of that mike, it was just a joke thats why i put the :jester: J/K (just kidding).

i hope i did'nt offen stitches?.. or you in someway?.

  6. The tread is decent but they are cracking slightly due to their age. The wheels are American Racing but I can't remember the model number. They are in great condition and are a good looking wheel IMO.

    thanks for the offer jj,

but i sold the wheels this afternoon, it's funny i could'nt get no interest for almost 2 weeks and then today 2 guys call wanting to buy them? but anyway first guy that came bought them.

if you want to sell your wheels i can give you the other guys number?...

  7. Do you know what those wheels weigh? Also are you interested in a trade for my American Racing 22's? If your wheels are lighter, I am very interested and I'm local. Let me know.

i would guess there about 34-37lbs based on what i can tell from my web search?... afa a trade goes, i'm really looking to sell them cause i need the cash right now.. how is the tread on your tires and what brand are they?. maybe if i feel i could sell yours faster then mine i'd be interested, but i need some more details.

  8. Plate looks awesome ...  ... Nice touch with the whole Lake Tahoe too ...

I'll be out in LA, from the east coast in mid September ... I can't fish to save my life, but if you need someone there to help you drink beer, I'm your man!!!!!!

hey stitches, i thought cops were supposed to bust up the party, not start it!... lol. j/k :jester:

and mike, the plate looks sweet man definetley goe's with you and your theme

i aint no proffesional fisherman either but i've gone at least once or twice a year, nothing serious though, usualy just off the dock or shore.. once i went deep sea fishing and got sick and spewed right on the deck! :puke: i was lucky enough that no one was there when i puked so i gathered my composure and walked to the other side of the boat and did'nt tell no one.. :uhoh: but in my defense we went to dennys before we got on the boat and the water was rough, we were going up and down like 3-5'
