Thats what i was thinking, you could run III or VI in the trans because nothing has changed internally its still the same thing.

If you really want to get into accuracy of the cunic inches. bore x bore x stroke x 0.7854 x # cylinders = cubic inches. 4.00 x 4.00 x 3.620 x 8 = 363.922944 cubic inches/ 61 = 5.965949 liters

For some odd reason they do round up in size vs. the liter. Like the 85' IROC-Z had a true 5.0L=305ci but ford had there 5.0=302ci.

there is 61 ci in a liter. example. 7.0L X 61=427ci or 427ci / 61=7.0L

you should try your local muffler shop, im pretty sure they can help you out. most people do a custom set up any ways, much cheaper.
