hhmmmm.........new valve body huh Man I couldnt bring my self to do that... Check my post in this thread referencing TAP cells, and ask your service writer to have a technician check the 1-2 TAP cells 4 through 16, and ask him to log those numbers to show them to you. Positive numbers indicate more line pressure being applied by the PCM during the shift event, which could indicate mechanical problems with the transmission. The TAP cells have a range of 4 through 16 to indicate throttle condition when the shift occurs. 4 is light throttle and 16 is heavy throttle. EX. when the service writer brings the data to you, if you see that 1-2 TAP Cell 5 has a 0.5 value, but 1-2 TAP Cell 15 has 9.548 value, this tells you that the PCM is adding 9.548 psig of line pressure during the 1-2 shift only at heavy throttle to prevent slippage.
