i'm hoping they were gentle loading and unloading (but i did get insurance just in case) the roads where i live are not to bad (its ok in the bigger citys and the main roads but some of the country lanes are a bit small, but i've been driving American cars and trucks for 25 years so i'm used to it lol and know which roads to avoid locally lol, i know what you mean about spain though there are some tiny roads over there, only big enough for donkrys and carts lol... I'm really carefull where i park (even if it means taking more than one space ) like you i can't stand careless people who can't park and have no respect for others property.. $5.54 a gallon I wish lol try these prices this is what we pay locally Unleaded 88.9 per liter or £4.04 $7.91 for a UK Gallon or $6.58 a US Gallon Super Unleaded 94.4 per liter £4.29 $8.40 for a UK Gallon or $6.99 a US Gallon the UK Gallon is slightly bigger than a US Gallon. Wow gas is exspensive. I just paid $2.51 for a gallon of 91 octane at costco here in Cali.

Im fully loaded (4X,sunroof, leather..etc) and he was no leather no roof 2wd. I had my ass handed to me. Sucks for me but at least it was a chevy? Im glad it happened because It was the kick in the right direction! I want my truck to be able to pass smog so I that limits me. I want to tune and upgrade tranny with a shift improver kit but I've yet to here If I can do so with the M70 tranny? Is there a kit yet anybody? Part #? Also Headers and Exhaust. And that should put me even with the SSS 2wd . Soon very soon, I will have my vacation check!

My 4WD V-Max has LT3 trim (lots of options), skid plate package, and a spare tire lock. It weighed 5,220 lbs with seven gallons of fuel used. Add 40 to 45 lbs for the missing fuel and I am at 5,260 give or take. My shipping invoice stated that my truck weighed 5,090 lbs. That is with only 2 or 3 gallons of gas. I was messing around with a new 06 SSS yesturday and I stepped out a full truck on him 1st-2nd then he started to reel me in 2nd-3rd, and got me by 1 truck length from 3rd-4th and he was still pulling. We both had passengers. He said his truck was completely stock. Damn power to weight ratio!!!! Oh well, I tried. . At least I know where I stand with you guys! I need to start buying some bolt-ons!

Did some searching and this is what I came up with.... 2006 1500 4wd VMAX..curb weight...5,018 lbs (VortecMax 4wd) 2006 SSS 2wd...................................4,627 lbs (SSS 2wd) Not sure if this is accurate anybody know for sure?

I would like to keep the Bose the way it is. Could I just relocate the amp? Could I then piggy back a HI/LO adapter (or Pac adpt.) off the rear of the head unit to an amp then the 10'? Our would that sound like crap? Cant I have my cake and eat it too? Thanks in advance!

Congrats on your new truck. . Im sure when they loaded it they were real gentle with her. I've never been to the UK but When I went to spain the streets were tiny. The biggest vehicle I seen on the road was a Land Crusier. Thats the only one. The misses and I walked ours asses off for 8 days. We seen people parallel parking and bumpimg the cars in front and in back all day long. No one seemed to care. I cant stand door dings or scratches....good luck!! Oh.....and have you been saving up for you fuel costs? God knows you'll need it at $5.54 a gallon . What octane do you get for that price? .
