^^^yup. Will need the bottom cladding strip as well....while we're on the topic, does anyone have any "silverado" decals that go under the SS emblem?
-
Yep, as EXGM it's junk unfortunately. There actually are people who splice that ribbon wire back together, but most times doesn't work and if it does (remember it's constantly moving while you drive) do you trust it to not lose connection and possibly not have an airbag? Lol
BTW I think I have an extra good one I would sell if anyone is interested.

If you are talking about the billet bow tie with the "SS" logo engraved, they were custom made by a member named shopman1. I don't think he makes them anymore though, so you'll probably need to find one second hand.
-
I ran them on my old SS with hawk ceramic pads and didn't didn't notice any braking improvement. They were quiet and clean, but not worth it to be eating rotors. I have oem pads this time and plan to run them. Most single pads are race oriented and take a bit to heat up and start working good based on the compound obviously. They are ideal though if we could find a semi quiet pad. Don't wanna sound like a dump truck lol, but I don't mind the dust so much.

Good lookin truck. All original paint?
-
Damn, wish I could get on that new truck every 6 months plan lol. Good lookin truck!
-
True Trac in the rear. Not much you can do for the front except a rebuild with new/quality bearings.
-
Welcome back. Couple of damn good looking trucks there. Silver one looks like my old SS and the ISS looks like my current clone build with an extra couple of doors lol.
-
I really considered it and if my truck were 2wd I probably would have. I was just nervous about the extra weight of the transfer case hanging out over it, and if it would be too much. Probably would be fine, but was just worried about it lol. They look very nice though imo.
-
The question is how much are you looking to spend? Lol. I have a truck with a whole bunch of nice parts that I would sell. 2006 clone with all wheel drive, Ls6 supercharged motor, front and rear big brake kit and all oem SS parts and some billet intro wheels. Shoot me a pm if you are interested bc I am getting a hinkering for a 69 Camaro again.

You'll need to find a compatible operating system for your truck from one that had an 80e. Then email both files to hptuners (if that's what software you run for tuning) and they will do it for you. Then you'll need to run the 2 wires to make the ISS. Pretty simple swap. My tuner wanted to try it with the 60e file and frost harness, my converter won't lock on its own which is why I recommend going straight to the 80e segment...which is what I'm about to have to go back and have done.

Good deal for a complete console!
-
Top two are for rocker moldings, bottom two are for front doors.
-
Yes it would. My truck is an 06 and I used parts off an 03 suburban 2500
-
Yes. Mine is from an 01. The way older ones, are the ones that have an issue of not having the right spot for the PRNDL switch.
-
So if you turn on your left blinker and get out of the truck, look at the front and rear lights, they do both blink, just fast? If not that would be my first step.
-
That sucks man. Hopefully the thief drives the truck hard, flips it and dies! Would be one less thief. Maybe you'll come out decent on insurance. Best of luck to you man.

I'm in....There is already a petition going around. Be sure and sign it as well as pass it around so others can as well.
So you mean two dudes can buttfnck each other and get married, and I can't modify a vehicle. BS

15734409 - Brake Pedal. Gonna be your favorite upgrade. My tuck is so much more fun to drive after the conversion lol.
-
Man, America is on it way down. This is only a tiny aspect, but we are in for some big changes.
-
Cool! I'm sure other would Def like to know part numbers too if they work out.
-
Best mod I would say would be move to TX lol. But seriously, I agree, the more complicated and complex they make things, the more can and will go wrong over time.
-
I really am not positive, but I don't see why not. It's a 10 bolt rear, but I have z06 brakes on it, so I can sat for certain 100%.
The 2 piece are much easier since yu don't pull axles, just chop off the old ones. That's probably the toughest part.

The Jet and Granateli sensors are stock sensors with fancy stickers on them. There is no real gain in changing them. I would go into the long answer of it, but basically leave the stocker in there.
Lol sounds about right.
All shined up!
