  1. Yep, as EXGM it's junk unfortunately. There actually are people who splice that ribbon wire back together, but most times doesn't work and if it does (remember it's constantly moving while you drive) do you trust it to not lose connection and possibly not have an airbag? Lol

BTW I think I have an extra good one I would sell if anyone is interested.

  2. If you are talking about the billet bow tie with the "SS" logo engraved, they were custom made by a member named shopman1. I don't think he makes them anymore though, so you'll probably need to find one second hand.

  3. I ran them on my old SS with hawk ceramic pads and didn't didn't notice any braking improvement. They were quiet and clean, but not worth it to be eating rotors. I have oem pads this time and plan to run them. Most single pads are race oriented and take a bit to heat up and start working good based on the compound obviously. They are ideal though if we could find a semi quiet pad. Don't wanna sound like a dump truck lol, but I don't mind the dust so much.

  4. The question is how much are you looking to spend? Lol. I have a truck with a whole bunch of nice parts that I would sell. 2006 clone with all wheel drive, Ls6 supercharged motor, front and rear big brake kit and all oem SS parts and some billet intro wheels. Shoot me a pm if you are interested bc I am getting a hinkering for a 69 Camaro again.

  5. You'll need to find a compatible operating system for your truck from one that had an 80e. Then email both files to hptuners (if that's what software you run for tuning) and they will do it for you. Then you'll need to run the 2 wires to make the ISS. Pretty simple swap. My tuner wanted to try it with the 60e file and frost harness, my converter won't lock on its own which is why I recommend going straight to the 80e segment...which is what I'm about to have to go back and have done.
