  1. Get 35% tint on the front windshield or get the limo strip on the windshield. It is unsafe to drive at night with 5% percent tint and also I think the cops will stop you. On the rear windows it is a must to have 5% percent tint though.
  2. A tune will really wake up a NBS V-Max because it will take off the 4 second delay. On the SS the tune helps it but not as much as a NBS because the NBS V-Max have way more torque management than the SS. The stock tune on NBS sucks, it robs a lot of power. Also tundras don't have torque management so that's why there faster stock than a NBS V-Max.
  3. Get an extended cab V-Max and get a tune,cold air intake and exhaust. Most importantly a tune, that will really wake up the truck. That will make you beat a tundra.

  9. On my V-Max I took out the GM emblem and the Silverado rear decal, I only left V-Max so people know what engine I got and I left LTZ so people know it's loaded.

  11. That's cool, should have kept the Super Sport. It is an LTZ or LT? Have you noticed how the truck dosen't get all it's power instantly when you floor it?
  12. Arrival Blue is an awesome color, I think it is the best SS color. I tryed to buy one but I didn't find any so I ended up with a V-Max. 17,500 dollars is a pretty good deal, I usually see SS between 23,000 or 25,000 dollars.
  13. I need to tune my V-Max cause that 3 or 4 second delay sucks, it hauls ass though after those seconds. What kind of custom tune could I get, if anyone knows?

    Killed a Titan

    I don't think a Titan can hang with an SSS or a V-Max, I destroyed a Crew Cab Titan in my 5.3 Classic so I don't think they can hang with an SS or a V-Max.

  17. Well I got stock Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires so I don't think they are speed rated high. On the launch they aren't that quick, but it gain power sick at higher speeds and it feels faster than my 5.3, but on the takeoff it feels like my 5.3 would beat my V-Max , but from 30 to 95 I think it will beat my 5.3L. I just need a tune to get all that power from the 6.0 engine.

My V-Max is rear wheel drive, I think the gear ratio is 3.73 and it is getting more power than before, but I don't like waiting a few seconds to get all my power, it is fast though, I just need a tune to get all my power. GM has put to much torque management on these new trucks. I also need to drop it, it is to high.
  19. The wait sucks dude, but I'm sure it will be worth waiting when you have exhuast on. When I put flowmaster on my Classic 5.3L it was worth the wait. Pretty soon I will install exhuast on my V-Max, because I can't stand not having exhuast on my truck.
  20. I have a V-Max NBS and after 95 mph it dosen't pull anymore, it just stops and stays at 95, also it takes a while for it to get going when I floor it. Why is my truck limited so low and why does it take a couple of seconds to get full power? After a few seconds it pulls really hard, this truck has power, but it dosen't put it down like it should. My classic 5.3 used to hit 108 mph like nothing and after that it just stopped and it responded instantly when I used to floor it. My V-max dosent spin the tires when I floor it on a stop, only when I step on the brake and accelarte. What can I do, is there any tuning available for the NBS? Right now it feels like my 5.3 is faster than my V-Max. Any suggestions on what I can do?
