Thanks for all the compliments guys, I already want to modify it. For sure I'm getting exhaust,limo tint,20's, and a tune, my V-Max maxes out at 95 mph so I really need a tune. Yeah, I got the NHT package and it came with rear disc and it brakes really good, better than my classic 5.3L. My truck came out to be 35,000 dollars so a crew cab would be a little more. It also depends on the options you get because you can get a LT Silverado with the V-Max engine and it would be cheaper than 35,000. Mine was 35,000 because it's an LTZ.

Here are some pictures of my brand new Vortec Max, I bought it July the Fourth and it is an LTZ. I traded in my 2006 Silverado for it, i traded my classic because the brakes kept messing up. At first I looked for an SS Silverado at local dealers but they didn't have any, so I bought this one cause it pretty close to being an SS. It is fully loaded except for sunroof. My plans for it are to put exhuaust, tint,20 inch rims and fix up it. It also has disc brakes in the rear, a thing my Classic didn't have. Here are some pictures of my Classic which I traded in for the V-Max, it was a 5.3L Silverado and it was awesome, it was pretty fast for being a 5.3L.

Well the NBS V-Max have 367hp stock and 375 ft/pds of torque, but can a NBS V-max beat an SS stock for stock?

Well I don't own a SS Silverado, but I just bought a NBS Vortec Max, I was looking for a SS Silverado at a lot of Chevrolet dealers and I didn't find any at all so I bought a V-Max. My new Vortec Max is an extended cab LTZ and it is fully loaded except for sunroof. What made me buy my truck was that I always wanted an SS or a V-Max, so I bought one. I had a 2006 Silverado 5.3L and I traded it in for my V-Max because my 5.3L kept wasting the brakes to fast, so I just bought the V-Max, I bought it on the fourth of July.What I like about my truck is the leather interior and that around were I live you don't see any NBS V-Max LTZ Silverados. I'll post some pictures later.

Tonight was pretty cool, I was in my Silverado and I punked some ricers, they made a right turn and they signaled to go right to run I guess and they punched it and before they knew it I cut them off and I was in front of them and after that they calmed down and they didn't want anything after that. after that I was crusing and at the stop light there was a 2500 HD Silverado and when I took of that fool punched it and we raced and I got to say this was a pretty quick HD beacause it was at my drivers door, but we slowed down because of the light. After that I saw black SS and I followed him to run, and we lined up and he punched it and I was kind of taking him but he started catching up sick we were right next to each other and I slowed down because the lane merged. But that SS sounded really mean and it looked really nice, the vortec max engine roared sick and it was fully loaded. I ran that SS were I ran another SS too. I think it was an 2006 SS the one I ran today. So I won two races and I wish would have had more room to run that black SS. I think it would have beaten me in a longer run. So today was pretty cool, I haden't run my truck in a month and the first day I took it out I got in to three races.

Truck is pretty cool, Chevrolet should have dropped a 5.3L on the S-10 Xtreme and it would have been awesome. Must be pretty quick, because Silverado's with 5.3 are pretty quick and imagine an S-10 which is way lighter it must haul ass.

Are hawk brake pads good?

They are basically the same truck except the VHO always got the 20 inch Chevrolet Rims and the Vortec Max comes with the 17in or 20 in rims, because it is the same 6.0 engine. I think the Vortec Max looks better than the VHO because the Classic Vortec Max have the power dome hood.

What's the point of buying a car you can't drive? Why can't you drive it anyways?

Putting a body kit like that on the truck would mess up the truck, they already look good with stock ground effects.

Cool trade, I got a question for ex Silverado SS owners, when you guys traded in your Silverado SS for the Trailblazer SS, did you guys trade it in because you like the looks of the Trailblazer SS or because of the LS2 Engine? The Trailblazer is cool, but I prefer the look of an SS Silverado, cool trade though.

I raced a Lightning and on take off I was right next to it, but then I heared the supercharger kick in and it blew me away. Never raced a SRT-10, they are always on the oposite lane. I haven't raced a Harley Davidson F-150, but I have raced a Power Stroke and I smoked it.

Yeah, the flowmaster 40 series, i personally think are the best sounding muffler out there. I have them on my Silverado and they sound awesome.

I have Limewire and it is really good, a good way to not get busted is to not share music with other users. That's what I have done since 2003.

Nice kill dude, I raced a Titan but it was a Crew Cab still beat him though. Fool thought he was cool, he reved it up to me and I reved it back we lined up and I smoked him. I guess he was embarassed cause he turned on the next light. I wanna race a extended cab now, it should be way quicker than a crew.

I got a ticket from a cop for having no front license plate and that's not the reason why I got pulled over. I got pulled over because I was reving it up to a SS Silverado and he was reving back. We were getting ready to run them. ****en cop came out of nowhere, it was one of those motorcycle cops and he pulled me over and he asked me why I was reving, I told him that I hearing my exhaust cause I barely put it on. He asked me that if I wanted to run that SS. He said I got lucky that if I would have smashed I would have gotten a racing ticket and gotten my car taken away. I told the cop that I told the owner he had a bad ass truck and he just checked my plates and checked for insurance and my license after that he just gave me a citation to put my plate back on. When that cop pulled me over, I thought that I was busted, but he just told me to put the front license plate back on. Have never raced through that street ever again.

Well the stock battery on my truck is still good, but on my dad's Suburban it gave out after three years and I replaced it with a Duralast battery from Autozone.

Did you run an extended cab or a crew cab?

That's true, I smoke import tuners aka rice burners without a lot of mods though. I wonder what I could do with a supercharger.

The 3rd generation never came with the LT1. Did you swap the LT1 into a third generation? I had a third generation too and it came with a weak carbed 305 and a 5 speed manual tranny, it looked sick though. I like the look of all Camaros.
