  1. the pirelli scorpions suck. imo...sorry dan... i have the 420's best bang for your buck in a street performance tire. i run them all year and for a softer compound they have good tread life. great tire. now go get em
  2. a lot of interest was expressed in the wheels. if i shipped them i guess i would have to either have you make the arrangements to get them or call ups freight. let me know so i can get a price. i need these gone.
  3. exhaust is sold and gone, thank you paul. im not shipping wheels or a hood. it will cost alot and heaven forbit you get them damaged or arent happy with them. rather just avoid the hassle. kevin that was not nice!
  4. matt and paul i texted you both....no reply. BUMP

  7. the noise isnt that loud....yet. so if its the front diff i may change the oil and drive it to failure. my truck has 96k on the clock. and i am amazed the trans is still holding strong. i blew 2 4l60e's within 2 weeks of each other both at 80k. in my old fullsize blazer and my work truck and this being awd i figured it would have gone already. is there any way to determine the cause beside removing the covers on the ground in 20 degree weather? lol. i dont think i could put enough torque on it if i jacked it up and spun the wheels lol. that front end has felt loose or funky for a while but everything is tight when i check it. should prob look at the steering shaft and front diff.
  8. ok i have searched threads endlessly and cant find anything relative. it seems to happen more once the truck is warmed up. i hear a whining noise that happens once i let off the throttle after accelerating. i dont hear it when im on the throttle. now as far as i can hear it seems to go away if i quick throw it in neutral, ill need to drive it more to confirm that. but that would make me think trans or transfer case opposed to front or rear diff. correct? its not quite a grinding noise, definitly a whine that goes away when i slow down or accelerate. any help, thanks!
  9. the doc has spoken and decided the correct replacement organ for my surgery lol. well you do drive like a woman lets not get carried away here with the grandma stuff nikko lol. i am the ghost in the darkness
  10. eddy this is a chevy site not a mopar site! lol, kevin, i have heard nothing but nightmare stories about level 10. so many people that had their trannys "built" and they put stock parts in....like in eddys truck. nikko you drive like a woman, i cant believe you havent grenaded that thing yet. i hear good things about rossler but not much on ls1 or here. its between his or flt. just gotta compare components to make me feel better i think. let us know about the performabuilt, they were first on my list from the popularity on ls1 but then i did some more research and pretty much every one every made has failed but 2 lol.
  11. Come on people. Id like to hear some reviews! I can only google so much in a day! Lol.
  12. Honestly its between rossler and flt. I only put performabuilt on their because they seem to be the most popular on any of the forums...along with most failures lol. Performa is out. Saw alot of failures with the raptor trannys as well. Havent heard much about rossler but they do build drag trannys and chuck at flt is great with answering my questions dan
  13. im pretty much between rossler and flt....moderator lol. yes kevin rambo is one of the most honest and knowledgable people i know, no worries with the tranny im sure.
  14. OK i am planning on doing a head and cam install on my truck to add to my full exhaust and intake. of coarse it will snowball to other things such as intake, pumps and etc....anyway. this is a budget build i can not afford a 4000k tranny. trying to keep it under 2500. durability and reliability are my main concerns, its a daily driver not a race car. i am planning on a PI Vigilante 3600 stall converter. now for the transmission. i was going to have mine rebuilt but for the cost i can buy a new one built already. mine has 95k on it and runs perfect, i hate to get rid of it, but with those mods i will need to. here is my dilema, and im sure its the same as everything. i could get a lemon with any product, i am just trying to avoid any issues at all cost. this truck is my daily driver and will prob only go to the track once a year if that. i have talked to zippy, fireman31, krambo and all gave me a lot of great info. i figured i would cast the vote to you and ask why you chose that one. all have a great following and also a lot of controversy. if i could narrow it down more and get some more opinions and more of a solid idea of which and why, then i would feel alot better on spending the money.
  15. im on pt.net just missed a hell of a deal on a new cam on ls1tech
  16. i am looking to peice together some power. i would like to find new parts that maybe someone for whatever reason is selling. prob also looking into injectors, tranny build parts, 3000stall, as well as cam, possibly heads. if anyone has any leads on anything pm me thanks.

  21. oh yeah things are better than than they have been in a long time.. so far lol. just wish i had more money to spend on the SS. i contemplated a camaro, but i think ill stick with the truck for a little while. i just miss manual tranny so much. been really busy with life in general. finally back at the gym and seeing someone. but anyway yeah spring is on its way and im getting the itch for some more mods.
