ok got the truck back from the muffler guy. ill look under tomorrow. he got my cats back on and made some midpipes in 3in stainless. he said he had fun lol. anyway, its def quieter at idle and louder at high rpm. got new bolts and spark plug wires. ill put them on tomorrow. this pcm relearn is killing me. everytime i hit the brakes or turn at slow speed the damn truck stalls in the middle of the road! i gotta keep my foot on the gas the whole time, and even then the rpm surges and goes so low it almost stalls unless i give it gas, even throwing it in neutral. driving me nuts, im gonna get pulled over for stalling in the middle of the road. it literally stalls 3-5 times pulling into a parking spot. and when i get my pcm back from charlie i gotta go through it again!

i deleted my email by mistake that stated my membership was up. where do i go to renew it? i have only been on here for a few years, figured i should know this by now...noob! haha

well after working on it all day finally got the other header on. the bolt ended up gettin drilled and tapped the hole back to 8mm i think is what they are. so thank god for my dad. he fixed my mess up again!. well it wasnt my fault. but i HAD to do headers! lol so now it sits at the exhaust shop. gettin the cats and midpipe put on. put the new 02s in. my new gaskets and spark plug wires will be in tomorrow. what studs or bolts you recommend to replace the factory ones with?

chris im gonna throw the other header on. bring it to the muffler shop and leave it for monday. he said he would do it first thing if i needed him. so i can stop there and ask him what he things about that bolt. if he doesnt wanna tackle it or if it will cost too much ill bring it back to the shop and order the parts from the dealer. ill let you know. nothing ever, i repeat, ever works out. my dad gave me the "i f@$%ing told you not to do headers!" lol o well. live and learn. i would have done it anyway

even if i did have the install party which i did wish i had done. i dont think we could have done anything to fix the problem today anyway.

check the bolt on performance section dan. chris idk what to do. everyone is closed tomorrow so no gaskets or anything and i dont have anything else to drive

first off my exhaust guy welded everything in. so i had to cut the cats out before and after it under the truck just to get the midpipes out. when i was taking my manifolds off all the bolts came out easy except for one. the drivers side near the firewall (3 inches away to be exact) was already broken off in the head. fml. i also noticed i cross threaded one of the damn spark plugs in. im a mess. lol the header on the passenger side went right on except its pinning the tranny cooler lines. i put the stock pcm in so the truck is stalling at every stop and about 5 times everytime i try to pull into a spot. so i either gotta pull the head. or i gotta see if my exhaust guy can do it. either way im screwed here. i got nothing else to drive other than my bike and its kinda cold and the roads are full of gravel and crap. anyway thats my story for today on the header intall.

if anyone wants to help me pull the drivers side head off my truck tomorrow am that would be fantastic lol. hit me up 973-229-2155 texts preferred. bad day, going to the bar.

id like it at a 6/7-8 inch drop, i think it would look sick with a 8 inch lift. but a 2/3 i think suites it best.

yes thats stupid and dangerous. there is a place and time for that stuff. i thought it was ghost rider at first but there are alot of guys doing these videos now.

honestly i like mcguaghys kits better. but if you are going down 4 inches in the rear you will most likely want to do a small c-notch in the frame. your going to bottom out hitting a pebble if your not already on your frame. in the front your going to want to get a camber kit for when you get it realigned. other than that. i found it easier to grind out the old hangers and knock them out with an air hammer/chisel. i started with the torch and it was a freakin mess and actually took longer for me. cant wait to see it! any other questions feel free to shoot me a pm.
