spindles in the front and either springs or shackle/hanger combo in the rear with some air bags will set you up for towing nicely. if you go flip kit in the rear your going to need more than spindles and keys up front...possibly lower control arms and spindles.

brad put me down for four please. still have the others from before but i have a plan...

i was just discussing that same thing with a guy at work the other day. and i was figuring going with a dry shot would be the safer way to go.
i think a dry shot is better as well but then your talking bigger injectors and such. lot of guys just run a reasonable wet kit with no issues or injector upgrade.
-
i highly doubt they'll fit. might have to go with a 265X35X22 for the fronts. maybe 285.
-
you might consier the MTI reverse pattern 230/227 cam as well. it works well with the stock truck intake.

I have a silveradoss.com sticker across the lower middle of my back window
same here.

welcome to the site!

someone posted a while back that a Flowmaster rep admited to their producted as causing a h.p. loss when installed but like the guys said a cat back and h-pipe will def. help.
that would be myself but nobody believed it at the time so i never mention it.
-
x or h pipe would also help with both problems.

BSER are you out there? hint, hint.

Don't they differ a little bit? Aren't 2wds lower then 4wds?
well they're both running torsion bar front ends and the z60 suspension package....i believe the 06 intimidators might be an inch lower but an awd ss lowered the same as a 2wd ss has always looked lower to me.

very nice sounding build. i too agree that a stock iron block can be built to handle a lot of abuse and it sounds like your moving on to a nice setup.
.
and imo nothing beats the sound of a meaty cammed na stroker motor.
-
congrats! i thought your 02 got stolen?
-
wouldnt an lq4 be a better starting point anyways with its lower compression combined with your radix than an lq9?
-
Im guessing hes "cherry popper" of pt.net.
he is indeed.

that wing would look good if you ditched your bumper for a rollpan.
-
2wd/awd ss's are rocking the same suspension exactly.

ready to order my 2/3 drop tomorrow. who has the best prices or do any of the site sponsors carry it? ive read evry thread in this section and it seems that most recomend spindles for the front, but opinions vary on lowering the back. i havent seen anyone speak on the kits on belltech's site that include drop springs for front and shackles for back. i believe the kits also include shocks front and back. are these not good kits? also, it seems that the main concern of hangers and shackles is proper use of shims. also seems from the threads that leaf packs dont have these problems but they drop the back alot more than 3in.please tell me if i have understood this right. this is my first mod and this money is burning a whole in my pocket!!
you cant use drop springs on the front as the ss's have torsion bar front end's which mean no coil springs. that is only applicable to the 1500 silverados with coils up front. rear is the same either way.

4.56 gears will help for sure. converter would as well.

you could use a pickle fork if you have one but its not mandatory. just get a bigger hammer....seriously.
