just to stir the conversational pot a little more i took my ss to the track for the first time last night.
never taken anything down the strip before, in full street trim with 1/2 tank of fuel i ran 15.0 at 92mph. there was a red 02 lightning, stock pulley with valve body only ran 13.4 at 98
massive wheel spin? 13.4 at only 98 mph? i ran a 14.0 flat at 98 with a little wheel spin on dr's.

New filter setup? What did you have in mind?
need a new filter for the outlaw too...I've been putting it off for months since i hardly drive the truck.
in process of selling my home and buying something a little easier on the checkbook each month....5K plus in mortgage every month is killing my wife and I.
also thinking of putting in my harris speed works nitrous kit i bought many moons ago...just catching up on all my reading ive been missing.

cant even remember last time i logged in before yesterday actually...no money for more mods anyways, lol...life's been a struggle past 18 months or so with work/mortgage/family.
fortunately the SS has been trouble free except for the converter blowing up couple weeks ago and a new steering shaft before that.
trolling for info on a new filter setup and the start of a couple new smaller projects.

I have both, like the 360 controller for most games...use the ps3 for dvd's so its a toss up....seems like more games available on 360 maybe???

I'd change your collectors to 3 inch and then run a full 3 inch exhaust and see where that puts you.

aside from a couple things...(driving a beater to save on gas mainly) my personal feeling about this isnt where and how to save money but how i can make more money to afford the lifestyle im used too and desire.

I can't ged rid of my bad vibration ever since I installed the 2 wheel drive belltech leaf springs. I called belltech & they have not done any enginnering with the AWD SS with rear leafs, & don't recommend it, only shackles. Save your self the headache & install the belltech 2" drop spindles up front & the 2" shackles in the rear. I'm removing my bellteck leaf kit & installing my stock springs with the belltech shackles = no vibration!
lots of awd guys use/used those leafs with no problems....in fact i read of a lot less complaints about vibrations from the leafpacks then the mcgoofey's hangers/shackle setup.
