  1. ***EDIT 7/29 PRICE DROP TO $14,999**** ***EDIT 7/23 PRICE DROP TO $15,500**** ***EDIT 7/18 PRICE DROP TO $16,000**** ***EDIT 7/12 PRICE DROP TO $16,500**** So I've finally gotten to a point in my life where I'm ready to let my truck go. I've been a long time member here (not active last few years) and a lot of the original members here know my truck. I treated this truck like a gem, it's spent it's last few years as a light work truck, not towing, just carrying some hand tools and boxes of equipment. The truck has been thouroughly enjoyed, and meticulously maintained. It's a 7 year old truck and in some parts it shows, it has it's dings, nicks, and scratches. Mechanically speaking, it's a champ. I just replaced the alternator at 95,000 miles and it's the first part that's gone on the truck. Here's the important stuff: 2006 1 owner bought here in Los Angeles. 96,xxx miles and slowly climbing *****CLEAN Title in hand***** Mods: K&N cold air intake Viper 2 way alarm with remote start (needs new remote) magnaflow muffler dual side exit pipes HID headlights LED smoked 3rd brake light Kenwood DNX7100 in dash with nav, DVD, ipod hook-up, and blue-tooth integration Upgraded door speakers (dont remember what they are, maybe Klipsch) Blacked out Bowtie, SS badges, and Front bumper ducts Blacked out amber front turn signals New battery and new alternator Black Husky low profile tool box mounted in bed (doesn't show above bed rails) I don't have many pics on this computer, and the one of the wheel in the bed is just to show the low profile tool box. You'll see a thread here attached to my profile about how the truck was stolen in 2007. The truck was stolen, with the keys, and recovered a few months later with no damage other than the old stereo missing. Because the truck was stolen with the keys, not broken into and the ignition not messed with, and because of meticulous steps taken by my insurance agency (AAA), the truck was recovered and returned to me with a CLEAR title which I have in hand. When the truck was recovered it had less than 50 miles put on it from the day it was stolen. It sat, abandoned, behind a warehouse in San Diego until police found it. I'll answer any questions, and send any pic requests via text message (310)849-1598 [email protected] I really don't check the forum often so please text or email. thanks I'll also consider partial trades for older (pre 1967) cars.
  2. It in the garage up at my moms house so not too sure when I could get a pic of it. Perhaps someone else here can help me out? It's fiberglass with a dull black finish if that helps.
  3. Got this a few months back and it hasn't left the box since. Paid $375 for it and will sell it for $360 shipped or $340 picked up. I'm in the West LA area and will drive reasonable distance to deliver. You all know what they look like, if not the search button is your friend

  5. Glad to see everyones still here. I also slowed down on the forum cuz it seemed at one point maybe 6 months back we had a big rush of new members joining and becoming real active. An to be honest most of em seemed like jackasses to me. It's nice to see the same originals hanging around
  6. Jesus I can't believe I read most of that... I've just been caught up in work, moved about two months ago (pain in the ass), dealing with getting the new place all set up, but mostly it feels like i've stopped caring about my truck. It's turned into a full time work truck, But last week I washed clayed and waxed it and kinda feel in love again. lol
  7. Just like the topic says, I haven't been around in months months. What have I missed? Who sold their truck? Who hates who now? Who got banned? Who came out of the closet? Who's the fastest now? You know stuff like that.

  14. Dear Walter, I hope you can help me here. The other day, I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching the TV as usual. I hadn't driven more than a mile down the road when the engine conked out and the car shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help. When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in our bedroom with the neighbor's daughter. I am 32, my husband is 34, and the neighbor girl is 22. We have been married for ten years. When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted that they had been having an affair for the past six months. I told him to stop or I would leave him. He was let go from his job six months ago and he says he has been feeling increasingly depressed and worthless. I love him very much, but ever since I gave him the ultimatum he has become increasingly distant. He won't go to counseling and I'm afraid I can't get through to him anymore. Can you please help? Sincerely, Sheila ****************************** Dear Sheila: A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the carburetor float chamber. I hope this helps! Walter

  17. I was 16 years old and just got my license when my dad gave me the keys to a '64 Thunderbird and told me "all it needs is a motor", so basically I didn't have a choice, If i wanted to drive I had to learn. I guess that's where it started
