Dave's right. None of this is easy and more importantly none of it comes FREE. I've gone through it with numerous sponsors, none for my truck but for my surfing. Sponsors are the most important thing you can have to progress in your sport or project. I have busted my ass for my sponsors, loosing time at work getting ready for contests, traveling ALL over Cali and some of the world, and being given some very strict rules. I've had in contracts that I could be waived(dropped) if seen wearing T-shirts or clothing from certain competing companies. Being sponsored is a GREAT thing, Don't hate on the people who have it, get good at what you do and get known. I can't count how many friends think I'm an **** cuz i dont show up with free boards for them.

In LA you better already have your engine killed and your keys on the dash or guns are gonna be drawn. I've had them tell me on the loud speaker to reach out the window and place the keys on the roof.

I paid just under $290 for the combo.. 18v impact driver and 18v drill. It comes with a great case that fits all kinds of other tools and two batteries. And with the coupon form the makita site they send you a third battery free. To give you an idea of batter life the first project i used it on was my buddy's new garage addition..I probably hung 30+ sheets of drywall before the battery even started to slow. Hands down a great great tool. I think dewalt is great and have always used it in the past but i'll put my makita up against the dewalt impact any day
