after doing some research there was a 360hp version all the way to 450hp ls6 might have been the slower one He was def. cool about it and i bet he would've been passing me down the road for sure still was a kick in the ass though!!! He prob. wouldn't have been so cool if it wasn't a truck he was trying to reel in....

Friday night I was cruising home from a long day of work, and there is usually a show/gtg every fri. night by this sonic during the summer. I cruised by just to drive through the lot and check out the views and then pulled out to go home and what lines up? a metallic gray chevelle w/ 454 badges on it! The light changed pretty quick so no time to clue the guy in that I was going so i punched it a little and then stood on it through first... he noticed and stayed up w/ me to the next light... then his girl was looking @ the truck and talking back to him and smiling and gigglin.hhehehehe this time I didn't let up at all, I know he let me get the jump but I held him off to 60 when we both let off because of upcoming traffic and another red light... his girl was then giving me a big thumbs up and he was just nodding his head and then pointed at his hat and smiled... He might have been just toying w/ me but I know he didn't expect to stay behind me!!!!

I had a 95 k1500 I just had my dealership throw in a rebuild... They gave me a pretty good price and a 100k mile warranty! (probably cause I sent my wife in to negotiate w/ the service manager.... she always gets better deals!!!) Why not go for the 4l80e? It'd be the last time you delt with the tranny prob!!

Those are easy... they lasted about a week on my truck heat em up and pull them off!

I did the same thing.... about 10k ago they seemed a lot better at first but now just average... maybe I just got used to it... Mine start shuddering a little when coming to a stop, but I think its just the groves catching a little on the pad. Same situation though, roasted the stocks at 30K saved 50% over stock by upgrading! Just didn't have enough moolah for the bears yet... Maybe at 60K

going to vegas June 1-4 to celebrate my sis's b-day.... it'll be my first time since turning 21! Are you gonna be there then? Other than that, a whole lot of work.... car washes have a lot of things needed to be done, while the weather is nice..... and all the snow/blizzards this year here in CO really put a hurtin on trees, I have three big tree jobs to do before vegas... money to go towards some decent street tires for the summer and a shift kit

Notice any diff. in gas mileage? I'm about ready to get zippy's kit and am contemplating a tbtc.... just want to keep my truck as efficient as possible and still functional for everything else I use it for.... towing, off-road, romping through 2 feet of snow.... sure sounds like fun though!!

First of all, I was just replying to racerJJ.... and worked it out with him. The only reason I responded to you is because you took one of my posts, assumed that an off the cuff statement was a summation of my character, and decided to take it further by calling me ignorant and arrogant. This is the first forum I've joined and messed around on, mostly to learn things about my truck, and share my own experiences, but have learned a valueable lesson to carefully think about every post I write because there is always somebody that will take things as literal as possible and assume its their responsibility to critique and prove somebody else wrong, or in this case arrogant, ignorant, and a fool. So thanks for teaching me a few things about myself, sorry you have this opinion of me. I will say that I might have been a little too quick to post a thought off the top of my head, but my point was no matter how much you lecture people on a forum about street racing, do you honestly think your going to change somebodies driving habits? I guess I could have found a better way to say it, but thanks again for showing me how literal some people can take some peoples comments on forums!!

I've reassessed my life, attitude, and my neccessity to race on the street... sorry to have struck a chord that obviously angers you... setting cones on a freeway doesn't sound like a fun or safe job, thats why I wouldn't do it, but I also wouldn't drive 70+ through a cone zone either.... Their are definitely unsafe street racing situations, and others a lot less hazardous, but your ignorance and arrogance is at question when you think I don't have the common sense to distinguish for myself what is harmless fun and dangerous racing. Oh and I guess you learned your lesson after your accident doing the very dumb things in question here, and never take your truck up through first or second gear at WOT on the street.... right? Or is that not considered street racing to you? Save your money and buy more protection for your employees..... might save a little stress... ah shit there goes the ignorance again... SORRY to hijack the thread... hopefully i didn't piss somebody else off w/ this post. OK video, but like previously stated, less music and more engine noise woulda been nice and maybe one time lining em all up!!

ANYWAYS.... nice pad chase! might want to keep a can of crackhead b gone though, for all those "homies" trying to scam some AC from ya! Definitely nice to get out of range of the habitual bitching!!!! No pics of mine yet.... still working on the bathroom remodel.... and w/ 2 kids and a big truck payment not too much money to make the pad spectacular, besides the kids would take care of anything nice in no time!!!
