  2. Come on guys, isn't there anyone else "Airborne" on here besides Justin?! 4 years (1981-1985) in the 82nd Airborne infantry. That tells you what an old fart I am. I was in the 2nd 504th Strike first 82nd airborne unit at Ft. Bragg, and was a 63B myself, (grease monkey). I've been in alot of different countries, Granada, Portugal, Spain, Germany, and West Cairo Egypt, many states, and seen quite a bit in the service. Those were some of my best years! Sometimes I really miss it, and all my friends.

  3. I'll throw a bunch in for you. Here's some with a Super 44 with a cutout (1/4 open), Corsa Sport, and some at the track. The videos don't it any justice. They are way louder in person, especially in the garage. It echoes everywhere and makes your head vibrate. Keep in mind, if you are stock, you will loose about two tenths of you times with the flowmaster. They are to restrickive, but sound good!

  4. Ha Ha, yep the Rangers got us beat. But at least I'm still "Airborne". I've still got alot of training like you guys did. Alot of recon, repelling from the choppers, jungle training, etc. I've been to Cairo in Egypt and loaded ammo under top secret orders, and all kinds of goodies. Been inside of the pyramids and seen where King Tut was buried. It was fun going there. Almost got shot from the Egyption soldiers by taking pics of the old Fantom fighter jets in a top secret area. Yeah, that was fun. My C.O. had to come and rescue me from them, otherwise they were going to put me in jail.

  5. your crazy with the paint man! awesome wish i could paint so bad

Don't be afraid of it, just pick up an airbrush and go do it! You can find some airbrushes on line for about $100, but then the compressor and paint will kill you. If you (or anyone for that matter) are interested, let me know, I'll give you some linkys that will teach you how. You will have to learn, but it comes natural to some people. If you can draw, then you can paint. That's all there is to it.

  6. Thanks guys. This isn't my best flames yet. I'm still working on my own parts, but I've been waiting for something to get here so I can finish one of them. The clear will make it glow some more, but not much. It will also be harder to see from the camera pics, because of the glare.

  7. I just though with the 4th of July coming up, that I would pay a tribute to our country for everyone. We all enjoy our freedom living in the good ole' USA. So how proud are you to be an Amercian? For me, being an (ex) Honorable discharged 82nd Airborne Infantry soldier in the United States Army,

I am extremely proud to be an American. Even with the economy the way it is, I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else.[/b] So here a are some pictures that I loaded up for everyone. I didn't want to load to many, because it might take up to much space.

I pledge allegiance to our flag

  8. Thanks guys. Just so you all know, I did drop my muffler on my foot from the pipe side down too. Damn, did that hurt. The toe got all black and blue and the nail never recovered. Bob, I was going to send you a PM to see how they are doing, but I guess you answered already. It sounds like you are enjoying the. Nice!

Here's a couple of pics of the next step on the fire. It will be a "true fire" when it's all done. It's just the first step of the fire process (design) with the white and a coat of candy colors on it. I still have yellow's and red's to add. I still have to add the 1st sargent rank over top the fire on the left side, and some other things too. I'll give you progress pics once and a while.

  9. I'm doing an engine cover for a retired 1st sargent from the Marines. He wanted something along these lines, and with the Marine logo, some flames, his 1st sargent rank, and some fighter jets flying over. But this is only a sneak preview of it. I just got done with the flag and made it look like its flying.

  10. I'll try and make it (as usual). I've got a new job now, and its working nights and weekends. I'll be converting (all) the Washingtom Mutual banks the the new Chase banks. There are 36 in the valley, and I'll be doing them all. I'll be starting the week of 6/6/09, so I'm not sure if I will be there. I might be working.

  11. I voted for Zippy and Frank. Frank did my tune a few years ago, and did an awesome job, but when Frank did my cam swap, he didn't have a wide band to get that extra humph... So when Zippy moved here from Michigan, he put my truck on his wide band. We spent about 2 hours together running my baby up and down a country road so we could open it up and check everything. We also simulated 1/4 mile times and mph too. I wouldn't take anything away from Frank, cuz he really does do great tunes and knows his sh!t when it comes to our trucks. The truck feels so much more responsive and stronger from low to top end. How many other tuners can that for you!!:dunno: Question though, how does everyone know who does the best tunes, when all we have is just one tune? Or have other people tried different tunes from other guys? I would think that the tunes would be so close, you wouldn't be able to tell the diff. Just my thoughts.
