wow that sucks. i work at a place that does this work(not as in depth as that but still the same) and all i can say is anyone can put shit in a car, its the ones that make it clean that are the pros. im very young still but know to make every job done nice and neat. but we also have to look at what others were saying. would you work your hardest if you had some @$$hole yelling down your back 24/7?? i know i wouldnt and i would do the same work they did. quantity or quality is defintly going on over there. and its sad to see because i love the work they do. (did). the duct tape is nothing, except they could have used the right stuff. we have this duct tape stuff thats black and made for electronics and is sticky as hell. you use it to hold down wires, not a speaker to the door thats sad. i bet if they(workers) were given more time they would have done better work. JMO sorry if its a rant, but it sucks seeing this when you work in that feild.

to do it on both sides would be hard since you have to work around the gas tank.

quick question before i go and do this also, will this mess up my sound of the exhaust?? i like the way it is now and i thought that sound came from the lenght of the pipe letting the gas vibrate making the deep sound. if i put this in front of the tires will it have enough lenght of pipe to sound good?? also im using a super 40 flowmaster. sorry to jack the thread but i rather ask here where peopel have done it then start a new one. thanks..

ya but it would look to much like my buddys rst silverado. i like that, but rather have the side exhaust, makes it look more like a race truck.lol

werid this just came up, i just saw a pic of it and wished i had it. i have a conection with a local muffler shop and he could bend me a peice i need to make it work. i think ill do it since once i put the roll pan on the tip would look weird. i say do it.

i would try to find the problem. theres probably a draw somewhere, that is just killing your battery. OR, you just have a defective battery.

well i finally got the coil springs in today. its been a long time but i now have everything i need. all i have to do is get my new tires done next week or so and put the kit in. i hope to have it done by the end of the month. with working and a upcoming vacation i have no time. to do it. well will have pics in a few weeks.

got that right. i still have to get mine done but already have spare just incase the cops dont like it.lol. i also have seen that film, i actually just saw it today on a ricer. it is very think.

im actually installing a turbo cherry bomb on my buddys fj tonight. his truck sounds ehh now, ill let you know how it is after. also he paid like 30 bucks for his, becuase of my job. EDIT*- i finished up a little while ago, and man am i disapointed. it sounds like stock. granted he doesnt have a big engine (v6) but i think it should be a little better. hes all angry becuase he wants his truck to sound like mine. we dumped it and still quiet at idel. when he steps on it is ok. i dont recomend the turbo. but ive only heard it on his truck. i think hes getting a new one tomorow like the elite or glass packs.(horrible) but w.e i get paid for installation and removal so idc. lol

i would also like to know. i have mine just sitting in my garage. doesnt look hard but i rather know how to do it 100% b4 i do it and run into problems.

well i dont know if its old news.(havent seen it posted yet). but i was reading my new truckin and on pg. 174 theres a nice ss. probably a members here. his name is josh mizell. and in the discription of his truck it says "to make the most of the zippy performance engine tune". just thought it was cool to see his name in truckin, and if your the owner of the truck and read this, congrats on getting into the mag. ~~Kyle

well i went talk to a freind of a freind that works ata chevy dealer. i told him what i wanted to do he said wait here. couple mins later comes with a packet of paper of how to correct pinion angle and every little step to do it. also he gave me the tool to measure it. but i told him it might be a week or 2 but he told me anytime i want it just come by and ask him. but anyone else NEED to use one?? thanks again guys

well i just have 1 more question before i get my drop going. i have seen a shim that changes the pinion angle. how will i know if will need this part??. how do i check the angle and what should it be? also what should i check after i get it done? wheel alignment?? anythi8ng you guys recomend please let me know. i want to do this and have no problems after this. thanks for anyhelp~~Kyle
