well i have had a d.e.i hornet 564t and gm bypass module in my tool box for a litlle while now. i already have a remote start in my truck so its not needed unless i switch it(which i might do). i could put it in a new car but want to see if its worth selling. they retail for $261.33 and the module goes for about 35-40. i was looking to get $250 plus shipping for it. id take a 50 buck loss but if its for my fellow ss brothers(and sister) id do it. i just want to see if its a item people want. AS OF RIGHT NOW ITS NOT FOR SALE just want to see if theres intrest in it. i will not go against my word if i decide to sell it and some one offers me higher, i offered 250 and thats what it will sell for if i decide to. its a nice system and i might remove my old one and put this one in but still undecided. well heres a pic~~~~

the cladding insnt cheap so if you find it that low grab it. ive only seen cladding go for only 1000 or more!

ok im not 100% sure on this but i believe if you have a 2 peice drive shaft you need a carrier bearing alignment kit. i think it wold be the same on a vho alignment kit!

well if your on the fact that you are building your truck for a track then yes a tenth is a big deal. but you rather do it right the first time. lets say you but those cheap headers, they might work for a while but lets say they crack or rust out because there not ceramic coated..whatever it is something probably will go wrong, so now you spent 500-600 on a cheap pair now what are you going to do? buy the same thing and then let it happen again? now you at the same price as the dynomax(or close to it) . and if your a big time racer a 10th is defintly worth 2000. considering just to get into low 10's they spend 6-7000 or more! if it were me i would go for quality. i rather take time spend more money and have the best then just getting it and having cheaper quality. but its not my truck so do what you want it and have fun doing it, keep us posted on what you did.

so just slapping on a ss logo makes it a ss package??? lol. that is very ugly he has like less than an inch or rubber on those tires.

hey not trying to hijack your post but my buddy has those headlights and lower lights in black just like yours. did yours come with amber? his said it didnt come with amber and there in there. did you remove it, pm me please

well i found a nice red rst in my area for sale. i was reallly thinking about buying it but all the diffrence between mine and that truck is the roll pan, and interior. well i thought about all the money i was going to spend to get that then the hassel to sell mine so i just decided i would really get into doing my truck over. i have a tan interior which im looking around for a parts truck with grey interior and doing a swap. but i was also thinking about doing some work to the engine. i was thinking maybe a 6.0 swap. is there any way to make my 4.8 into a 6.0 or would i have to buy a new engine? i really want to get into doing alot of work in the truck and more cosmetic and more power related.. also how hard would it be to swap interior??

it will work over a stock bumper, i was going to do this and researched it alot. like said above the only difference will be that it will be wider, but i have seen a truck with that bumper and only the back two peices of cladding, looked good when i get home ill post pics!!!

well i have a question about my buddies brakes. there a bear brake kit from the factory on a regency rst. but the calipers have a cover over them. a nice red cover that says bear on them. i was wondering were , if you can, get them? and would the fit stock brakes?? hopefully one off you have seen them and know what im talking about.~~~kyle

theres a ss around my area and has step bars. and ehh there the close ones that hug the side and their black, they look o.k but not great.. also not to go off topic but pimp ss could send or post a pic of your tailights. they look blue, are they? never seen that before looks nice!!!

i install 562t all the time and never had a complaint,...ever. now on the 561t which uses the factory remote, that i have herad many problems because the range really is bad. just shop around, i have also heard good things about code alarms. i might be switching to use those, there cheaper and have the same quality as dei.

just got back.. it was ok not the best. only like 20 trucks and nothing special, they did have a nice international done up but no ss. and if it wasnt for the old cars it would have sucked, so many ugly imports. the hydraulic show was nice and meeting chris garver was cool. i did see a ss though when i was leaving, it was pulling in a nice black ss with gray raly stripes. loud exhuast straight back thou looked ugly. hopefully ill be able to get into it next year and enter my truck. you have to be invited to get into enter your vechicle. well it was fun. maybe next year a little ss meet up there????

well the truck was at the body shop getting my front bumper re aligned. it wasnt straight so i had them move it out 1/2 and inch also to clear the tires. and for the next answer, what would spindles do to make it not rub any more. i know spindels lower something but idk what, and it doesnt rub all the time only when im at full turn does it make a little rubbing noise up higher nothing bad. i just dont want to lower it and then have it rub all the time. what kind of spindels do i need? what else goes alos with doing spindels?

its not bird chit! that picture was from the day i brought it back from the body shop and it was dried bondo looking stuff. lol.
