well i got the price in today. the guy said since he has to remove the gass tank and that might be a PITA it could be between 280-300. and if its easy to get around the gas tank it could be 200. it said it would prob take around 4-5 hours. looking at the install price and the kit i might as well save a few hundred and do it myself. my uncle used to be a mechanic and did lift kits so i think he could lower also. i would do it with him. do you think that price is resonable? and i should do it or install myself? need help guys!

yep, now everytime i get bored i just walk intot he garage and look at the pile of parts!!!!lol

i know i can have them done fast, but its the middel of winter here and i rather use the stock ones getting attacked by road debris than the new ones. plus i have so many things waiting to be put on in the spring. i like to store up parts then put them all on at once, makes it more noticable.

you said you put on a new blower, was there every a old one you might want to sell? well it looks awsome, never seen one powdercoated before, good luck

well this post is defiantly a mix. its a announcement , a member praise and a picture post. well first off i bought these lights of Jeff (aka jf-03-SS) a week ago. and all i can say is wow. the headlights are awesome. the lower lights are OK, i guess they will grow on me. just like he posted everything was great. and he always kept in touch with me. there is the tiniest tiniest crack/chip in 1 of the lights but you will never notice it. but i don't care for 50 bucks you couldn't go wrong. well here is a picture of the lights i wont get them on until the spring but this is what they look like, ill get my own pictures tonight. well hopefully you enjoy, and also give me some ideas of what to do to the lower lights, i was thinking about smoking them??? well here you go.

i use one called bearshare. it free from freedownload.com. comes with a program that supports it called save now. but if you have filters it stops the program from running. its not a big deal just come up when you want to buy something showing other sites with cheaper prices. you can get the pro and pay for it but i will stick to free things.

if you click on the tbryne. link on the left i know they have shift kits. i belive they use transgo, preety cheap i think there linke $120 or you can pm zippy. he has shift kits, i heard he wont sell them unless he installs them but i think thats old. he has many diffrent levels to pick from. also he knows all about trannys so if you have a problem ask him.

man if that fit a 04 i would snatch that up from you.

well i finally got around to putting the winter wheels on. defintly took me long enough but the weather has been so good it wasnt needed. but today i woke up to a decent amount of snow and that was it, the stocks had to go back on. i just got the ss wheels a couple months ago and dont feel like ruining them so soon(or ever). well its not that bad looks like a regular silverado. didnt take a pic but can give you and idea. also the stance is really nice now, with it lowered and the stocks on it nice, but the 20's made the truck to high IMO. also i can rember the power now, with the 20's the truck was slower, but with the 16's on i broke loose when i floored it at about 25mph.(well the ground was wet so....it doesnt count, but let me have my moment anyway lol) well enjoy i went from this! to this a little old, but if you want an idea of what this morning was like this is what they look like..

well im looking into getting a ss gauge cluster(the white face). was wondering if anyone has one for sale. i know i could go on ebay, but dont like buying from there. im open for other kind of gauges, so if you have any for sale please let me know.

i thought you had to use stock shackels with leafs? so if i use 1" shackles and leaf i would get the 4" or more your saying? thats not a bad idea since i wouldnt have to cut out my hangers. also if i do use the hangers and cut out the rivits, couldnt i just bolt up the stock hangers if i ever want to go back to stock?

well i need some help. i currently have a 2 in drop in the rear. but would like to go a little lower. i was thinking about a 2/4. all i need in the rear is hangers but dont feel confortable cutting out the hangers. the front i have no problem doing. but i have some questions thou. 1)do i need a c-notch with only a 4 inch drop? 2)how much will it cost to do hangers(estimate)? we use a dealer at my work that does these so he probablly will give me a little break but i want a ball park figure so i can get him to go lower. and number 3 do you think it will look good with a 2/4? i want to get all of the mechanical work done before i get the body done.so this will probablly be the next mod. this picture is with my rims and the 2" drop. the wheels rose the truck up a little so when looking at it from the back you see more of the undercarriage. and if i put a roll pan on i think you will see more. well hopefully someone has the answers

how much of a drop did you get out of it, did you get the full 3"? i want mine lower in the back but dont know if hangers are a good idea. i already have 2" shackels so i dont think 1 more inch would be noticable. what do you think? seems like you like the leafs.

from what i have heard belltech is good. i have 2'' belltech shackels on mine and cant complain. but i dont have a ss so maybe theres more involved. i want 2 more all around and im going with belltech or djm. but dont lower the truck just for tires. do it if you want a lower truck, changing tires is alot easier than doing a whole drop kit. but they still look good now.

hey nice wheels, but defintly tiny tires. they look like 45 i think you need like the stock size of 55/20. well no matter what they look nice, all you have to do is lower the truck alot to make them fit in.
