well i installed my super 40 last sunday, not to happy. i had my 50 series on there for about 5 months and the thing sounded nice, deep when i puched it at every rpm. but on the super 40 i only get a good sound around 2000rpm and anything over that is quiet. at idle i can defintly hear that its deeper. a much more deep tone thats nice. but idk if its because its not broken it or what. i rember i had to break my 50 in but it was quick and got a lot louder in a few weeks, hopefully this is the same, any ideas? also the drone is horrible i thought the super was suppose to be redesigned to have less drone, well i dont mind it just passngers do. also i was thinking of dumping the exhaust rigth after the muffler. good idea? and will this make it sound loud, i dont want it too loud but hate the look of the tailpipe, but i heard the tail pipe is what gives it that deep tone. is that true? well cant wait to see your answers, and sorry about the long post needed to vent a little!!!

well since i put the new stock 20" ss wheels on, it made the truck rise a little. when i had my stock tires i lowered it in the back with shackels, and it looked a perfect hight. but now i want it lower, and dont think i can go to much lower because the front already has rubbing issues. the back should be fine for another 2", but im worried about the front. i have 275/55/20 all around and what i was thinking was getting maybe 275/45/20 or 275/50/20 just for the front, so i would have more room to drop it a little bit. do you think this would look weird with bigger tires in the back and smaller ones up front? i just want my truck lower in the front, it looks so much higher now. any ideaS?

you sure its not a 562t? i install all dei products and never seen a 552t. idk maybe older version. a new 562t retails at 135. plus about 100 for install and all the modules you need. you will need 2 but can get away with only getting one and running wires from the door inplace of the other one.(a secret most shops wont tell you). also unless you are expernced with wiring i wouldnt d.i.y. it can be done but takes time. plus finding the wires are a pita. but if you have time you can do it. if you need any help like a wire list for your truck just pm me.

it says its a 04 but it looks like it has a 06 front. thats just the way it looks to me. nice truck. wouldnt mind getting it, but i do like the silverado rst interior alot more!!!! IMO

so it seems like problems are here and there, nothing to uniformed. gueese ill go with them and if they burn the plug i think the plugs only 20 bucks. so you recomend 100 watt?

well i am looking to get new lights for my truck, i heard alot about silverstars, but has anyone had a problem with them. my buddy has the same truck as me and is using 100watt artic white, i belive there from xeon not sure though. but he just burnt out his harness, it burt a hole rigth through the pigtail connection from the bulb to the harness. anyone had a problem with the silverstars. he said there a kit on ebay that uses relay and heaveier wire for the more wattage on the lights. but i dont want to buy it if there isnt a problem with the silverstars. so any help would be good.~~Kyle

hey alan its free, theres no charge it just hooks up to a signal. so if you go to a wifi hotspot youll get internet, also alot of people who have wireless internet dont put passwords on it so anyone can easly get ther signal. also big jon if you pm me ill walk you thru settin it up. its not bad i did already 2 since i got mine done, all my freinds wanted me to do theres, its preety simple but ill help you

wireless, ill post pics tonight after i get out of work maybe around 830-9. its just a little PITA because i lost my wep code so i couldnt connect to my house signal so i was connected to a unsecured connection that my neighbors have, and the signal wasnt strong so i kept loosing signal!!!~~~kyle

ok well today i finally took it out of the box, hated doing it looked so good in there. also one point to mention is that to get the truck out of the box is a PITA big time. its screwed into the box!!!! well i charged it and took it out for a spin in my kitchen tile floor. and WOW this thing goes wicked fast!!!! i ahve had other r.c cars this size and they are slow, i was doing 180's like the were nothing on the tile, and even did a little powerslide. a little mad becuase i let my dad drive it and he backed into something and cracked the tailight already, o well its a toy ill go get another for a display. also its black so it is fast but i wish it was blue or another color becuase this black shows every peice of dust on it. well i say to everyone to go out and get this!!!!!

well i just want everyone to know that im on this site on my psp. it might not sound like a big deal but i have been trying to get this thing to work all day. so now i can get on this site anytime i want, it takes a while to type but im getting better. its just like having a normal computer, and fast to. well just had to let everyone know that im excited
