  1. I can relate to all your stories. i had a freind for like 10 years and last sept i sold him my paintball gun, i coul dhave sold it for at least a 1000 but we were good freinds so i sold it to him for 600. we agreed to a weekly payment of 150. not bad i thought only 4 weeks and ill have my money. he paid me the first tme but from then on it was like pulling teeth. we rarely hung out after that. and i needed the money too because i just got my 1st truck(not this one) and it needed some work. now it sucked for me becuase i cant ask anyone for money, its just something with me that i cant come to ask people for it. so asking my best freind to pay me back sucked. he said he never had the money, but he always would have the best of everything. said he gave 1000 dollars to his brtoher for his wedding bought his girl a nice phone and jewlery and easly had 5 diffrent phones from the time i sold him it. so he spent money on everything except wouldnt pay me. well long story short every week i had to ask and he paid me but like 10 bucks or 20. so i finally got all my payments done....this oct. over a year it took him. when i could have sold it in a week for a 1000. ever since he paid me we really havent talked. he just keeps to his own ways...

thats why i hate having people owe me money, it always ruins something i also like what 06 silverado said about "if you want to lose a friend, loan them money" because its so true. o well what can you do!!!

  2. yes i agree 100% the things they show in the mag are crazy. theres even a little note from reader to let them know that they want a low budget truck overveiw. if they get enough responses they will do it. i wish i could do half of the stuff they show. i wish chase applied to be a cover truck. with his new paint and all his mods he defintly should be able to get in....

  3. well i saw the guy again, and got a better look at his truck. hopefullfy if hes a member and he will see this. its a black ss with side steps, windsheild sticker and on the rear has a checkerd flag window screen. had a couple of stickers on the back looks like harley but i couldnt tell, wanted him to pull over but didnt get his attention, this time i saw him in swansea next to the touasit gold course!!!! and he had a shopman bowtie, does shopman sell them anywere else???

  4. ya i install Lo Jacks. I had a post on how many people had one. came up with alot. most gm dealers dont really push lojacks because they come with onstar, and that can track it also. but onstar can easly be removed. lojacks are hidden in the truck and are made to look like a stock part when hidden. thats the big thing with lojack, to make them hidden. prices usually vary, i have been on a job with my partner and we started talking about price he said to the customer "o its not a bad price, for what your getting" and the guy said "1200 bucks isnt bad". now we couldnt tell the guy that he really just got it up the @$$ by the dealer because ive done jobs were the price is like 350 or even 500. i would recomend a early warning system. it alarts you when the car is moving without sensine the reciver on you key chain. i say call up lojack directly. they give better deals then the dealer. pm me if you want more info.

  5. o thats not to far from me. im from the fall river ma area. the best time to paint or fix anything would be now in the winter, most shops around here loose alot of buss. in the winter, they would love to get something to work on. theirs a place in westport mass, call 5 start collison, theres a painter named luie their, he knows his stuff. i would give them a call of even next level rides in johnston does some amazing work heres their myspace. i think they have a website but cant find it. if you call them say kyle from creative electronics sent you. their our dealer and put out amazing work!!!!

  6. well i went go put my 40 series on today after school and :banghead::banghead: !!! besides it beign a little to short,(not a big deal becuase i had some extra 3" exhaust pipe lying around) i had to hunt to find a coupler! almost every autoparts store here didnt have one. i brought in the muffler and told them what i needed they all said "wow thats big, no bodyhere carries that" so i was wtf!!! all the chain stores didnt have it but one mom and pop place had one!! thank god well i got everything ready unloosed everything and the muffler wouldnt budge!!!

so now i have to find a way to un seize the muffler from the pipes. thinking about heating it, would it work? and its not welded for those who would say "make sure its not welded".

sorry bout the long post just had to vent my frustration!!! skipped last period so i could get the stuff and put in on before job#2. :banghead:

  7. hopefully this goes in the right place. a 160* seems like a bolt on. have a question though. was will i gain from this. it seems like a cheap mod and alot of people have it. any +/- on it. is it needed, if i dont have a heavily modified engine. im planning to do a few things to the engine later and have a few bucks in the truck fund so is it worth it????~~Kyle
