    well idk if this is a repost but i was sent it by some guys at work so hopefully my fellow ss brothers, and like 2 sisters will enjoy. i thought it was preety funny.. wrong but funny....and at least its not as bad as track any cell phone!!!!!!monkey(warning)

  7. Drop the rear 2 inches.

    how to drop the rear of the truck is preety simple. i just used shackles to drop mine 2 inches and it evened it off the truck alot. though you have a z71 your back might be a little higher. 2 inches will close the gap a decent amount. 2" doesnt seem like alot but everything in the rear 2" lower makes a diffrence. you can also get hangers to add 2 more inches of drop. hangers involve more work like cutiing out factory hangers, droppping gas tank etc. it could be done in a day if you have time and the right tools. i did my shackels in 1 hour 45min. bet i could have been done sooner but i wanted to make sure it was done right, and my 1/2 ratchet broke but luckly it was when the snapon guy came. i would defintly look around for a shackle and hanger kit. use the shackels and keep the hangers for down the road (Ifyou ever want to go lower) i used belltech and 100% satisfied!!!~~kyle

    well i talked to a local dealer i use at work and he said his shop will smoke all 3 of my lights for 150. is that a good price? it includes painting with the smoke paint, wet sand, then he clears them with auto body clear and then buffs them, he says they come out like glass. i would like to do this but wouldnt mind also having a spare set so what do you guys think, worth it? and anyone have a spare set for sale.. looking for a cheaper set. (dont need thrid) .~~~Kyle

    ok heres the problem with going to court. i no many cops around here so i am "takin" care off unless i really screw up but the thing about court. one of my really close freinds is a cop and he says just for walking into the court house on a day he has it for a speeding ticket he gets a min. of 4 hours pay. no matter if hes in there for 10 mins he still gets paid. so its kind of worth them going to court. but if you didnt stand out he might forget you and not even show up. court dates a while from now so he might pull over 50 more cars and have there problems to worry about. just be polite and most likely it will go good in your favor.

    theres a special smoke paint, not just black paint. it also depends on how many coats you use. there was a good topic in the how to about doing them. and a couple pics of 2 coats then 3 then 4 just to show how dark it can get. i want to keep my reverse lights when i smoke them too. some really good looking taillight pictures if you look..i think the paint is called smoke then just clear it.

    anyone here a dealer tech. i have been talking to tim about being a tech. he was a gm tech for 16 years. just wanted to get more input on it. i was looking into the gm asep program, anyone else go through it?? think its a good idea becoming one. it must be hard work though. also im conserend about money, i dont want to have to worry about money. i want my kids and wife to have everthing they want(when i have kidds and get a wife).lol any input will be great!~~~Kyle

    :crackup: o that was good. i rember reading his post with his wheels man was that good. but w.e. hey the wheels look better than some i have seen around here. just 2 big for my taste. and r you sure your brakes stop fine? i upgraded from 16 -20 and i difintly need to aplly the brake more. but good luck with it looks good! :pop:

    well i have heard alot about the awd ss having a growling noise from the front end. now i was wondering if the cadilac escalade has the same problem? my mom has a 05 caddy and i took it out today and i was hearing a noise from the front. it is a realtime awd(i think thats what its called) and just going stright with the windows open i heard a growling/squeaking weird sound coming our from like right under the drivers side? any ideas what it could be. i heard that the escalde and ss use the same engine and drivetrain so is there the same problem? it only has like 9500 on it. should the dealer be able to fix it??? or will she have to pay?

    i would go 3" (im doing the same thing with exhaust) like wody said you dont know what you will do down the road and it would suck if you hvae to redo everything becuase you skimped out in the begining! im overdoing it now with 3"s but you never know a nice f/i system but be in the background!!!!lol good luck with whatever you do. also when you coming back up???
