one more thing guys...everyone interseted in my stock wheels, they are 16's not 17's. sorry. but i didnt want to sell them because i always want a spare sett just in case. but i migth get another set of new 20's so i might sell my stocks. but mike (quixxierider) gets first dibs because he lives close by and a good freind but there open to anyone if i decided to sell...

well i picked up my new rims and tires from shaun. just want to let you guys no that 2003SS B.B. (shaun) is a great guy. everything he told me about the rims was 100% true. didnt try to screw me and sell me crap, these wheels are mint...if he ever has anything else to sell and you guys want it get it...hes great to work with...well here they are. not on completly because of a rubbing issue which is being fixed monday.

well about the smooth cowl. my buddy at work is getting his done. its a kit from stylin concepts. just a replacment peice its going to look good. well here is my stollen peices.
p.s i love the stuff you guys are saying about stealing from mom...she will never know!!

well thanks for the help guys its only hitting the bumper( the grey valance plastic part) . so i went to a body shop and they are going to move the bumper out a 1.5" so be equall with the other side. and there is no problem on the pass side except at full turn just rubs the sway bar so no big problems there. so next monday the bumper is being reallined. i have pics of the wheels and them on the pass side, but didnt put them all on once i realized the drivers side rubbed.

ok im probally doing to wrong but my tires say 275/55/20 but i measured them and the rim is like 21.5" and the tire is like 10.5 wide. are they all the same. this sucks if they dont fit. they spin freely except when you turn hard like all the way. i need some advice to make them fit coorectly!!!

well it just hit me..i was outside looking at my moms escalade when i noticed her antenna area. and it doesnt have one. it has the right panel with no hole in it. so with me knowing how my mom is(not knowing anything about her car) i decided to switch ours. so now she has mine with the filler peice and i have her nice panel with no hole for free.... so i guess i got lucky on this one

now i was told to use the asap only on urgent occasions and this is one....
please keep in mind im on a reg cab.04 lowered 2 inches in the back..
ok i just go the tires and went go put them on. they are stock tires so there p275/55 the same as yours except mine rub on the drivers side. and hits my lower valence.(the grey part) now i belive its becuase the bumper isnt lined up correctly and its closer on the drivers side. but on the pass side its perfeclty fine except when you crank the wheel to the left at the very end it rubs a little( is that normal) but it only when the wheel is turned all the way. but im so confused on the driver. like the wheels are huge. are the widths diffrent? and i didnt get to put the backs on because i put the stocks back on front because of the rubbing issue i lowered mine 2 inches and when i put the tire up against the truck the tires higher than the wheel well! i dont know if it will tuck under but i dont want to hit a bump and have the tire crush in my fender! and help please i need it asap!!

well thanks to chevybird2006 i dont have to take pics!!! just werever you see red think black and thats mine. defintly going to use the zip tie idea though and get rid of the tape

yes i finally did it. just got done. took about 20 min to do. didnt get the replacment panel without the hole but i made a filler peice out of plastic and apoxied it in. looks factory. then i followed what another member said about grounding the antenna and just ran 16 ga. to ground it. defintly looks a million times better but i lost some reception on a station i listened to alot. but dont care that much because the ipod will take over. but i will try to post pics soon.

well i was looking at my truck and wanted to change up the front. i already have a street scence grill on it but was wondering if it would look good painted black. anyone have pics of it. on a black truck. i kind of want a black out truck now and the big crome grill kind of kills the look. IMO. and also im getting the strreet scene ss bumper cover and was wondering if the stock lowere grill valance will fit in that or no???
EDIT: i want to paint the stock grill not my street scence

same thing with me im helping the girl out the the cops come ask if i saw anything. said didnt really get a good look then says thanks and asked me to leave. it killed me leaving her there. i want to know hows shes doing. i might call a hopsital or a couple of cops buddies of mine to see if anyone knows anything

well its a little werid tonight. i was looking at posi12bolt's post on the 911 accident and was like wow that must be so hard to deal with. well i went out with my sister and wouldnt you know a accident. not just a fender bender but a roll over and the girl hit the jersey barriers. there were no cops or rescue vechiles in site so i pulled over ran to the car and was second on scene. there was an old man but he was speaking portuguese to the girl and i new she didnt understand so i tried talking to her, she was unconcious. the car was a mess and leaking like a f*@K and on its roof. i shut the car off and my sister called 911. it just hit home hard to me about speeding. like theres no need to go fast to end up on the side of the street dieing. thank god i had medical gloves and a nurse saw us and pulled over. to help me.. im 17 with 0 medical skill, except basic medical and common sense. i new not to move her but to get her stable. this might be off topic but i just need to tell you guys to slow down. ya i now you guys will say i no how to drive and bla bla. but seriously take it easy...that girls look on her face will never leave me forever. just thought i would share with you guys!!!!!!

ok i just got my ss 20's. and i was thinking with them showing so much of the brake arear now my stock brakes do not look to good. plus i want something to stop those rims with no problems. do you think i will have a problem using my stock brakes for a little while. so what brake kit do your recomend. that wont break my bank. also is there a kit with just rotors and keep the fac. caliper with better pads in it???
