  1. Thanks for your input but I did not blow my pico fuse. I had already blown my pico fuse a while back when I first found out about hot swapping. I then ground wrapped my rcas and now this happened. I think it was a little worse than a pico because I took the unit completely apart and tested each pico with a continuity tester and they all tested out fine. My understanding is the new units blow a muting transistor. I sold the unit for 300$ and im buying a new 8500bhs so that I can finally mirror my android to the deck. Legit. Was going to buy a clarion nx702 but no1 seemed to like it to much.Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2

  2. Question does the face flip down?? I have a kenwood CD player in my loader at work and if the face isn't inserted right or I hit a bump it does the same thing or some times I have no control of it. I wounder if the headunit you have needs support or something??

This is what it sound like to me. Or something loose. No other reason that I can think of.

  3. A diode in between the 85 pin on highs relay and the 85 pin on the lows relay. Cost u a whooping .10 cents. LOL search function will bring a lot of this up. Also write up in how to section.

  4. That's a bummer man. I had to pull my box out to fix it. I fixed it and in the last couple minutes of it being out I managed to put two huge burn marks in my carpet. SMH. So now I wrapped it in vinyl. Not sure what I think of it.

Vinyl looks decent usually. Sucks when you try and do something nice and something's gets ****ed. Got to hate that.

  5. Ext cab?? Drop it down and slide out the side.

Sounds easy. The headliner is longer than the door openings though. Just tossing my experience with it out there. I had to flex mine to get it out and getting it back in was a whole other battle.

  6. Headliners in these trucks are very tricky if removing the whole thing from the vehicle. I noticed you have to nearly fold the headliner to remove it and its not a fun process and mine did not go back in to well by the back window. Very frustrating.

  7. Thank you and I will more than likely take you up on that offer. Just have to get consent from the wife to shoot on the alarm.

What is the difference between the ADS-DL, ADS-AL CA, and the others? They look like they all do the same thing. Is it just what cars are supported? I might be putting to much thought into this. Thanks again.

  8. First problem sounds like you should check the ground of the unit. Although the digital slim ballasts have a possibility of putting noise in the electrical. I doubt this is the issue though.

Second problem you should look on the harness you bought to run the radio. If its the one to retain Bose amp it has an adjustment on it that you can turn down slightly until it sounds good.

Did you just put this in?

  9. Look awesome during the day when you don't need headlights but then your stuck taking them off at night. Especially if your going for the black and silver or black and w/e color theme. Don't know much about how durable they are.
