I used to own a lightning and that thing was wicked fast for a truck, bone stock too. Not doubting you but do you think it may have been a clone? I would love to have one of those trucks again, but a single cab truck right now just isn't up my alley with my son and all. And good kill too. I don't promote street racing by any means but it sure feels good sometimes, lol.

I got a room at the Days Inn Carlisle, 101 Alexander Spring Rd. I checked the hotels around the turnpike area where most of you guys are staying and all that's left is 179 - 200+ a night rooms with suites. Looks like everyone was out of basic rooms at a decent rate. So, I needed something a bit cheaper than that. I booked it through hotwire. My wife is excited too now, I told her Gettysburg was right around there and she wants to tour that too. This is gonna be a much needed vacation that we are all going to enjoy. Oh and we are now bringing our 1.5 year old son. Grandparents watching him for the week fell through. They say that is too much on them now. Dang inlaws!!

well I let her do the shopping for the flooring, she has definitely gotten some good prices though. dont know if it was the same low price that you found, but i wanna say it was right under a $1 square foot. And same as you too, I will be doing all the work for it lol.

she wants new carpet on the stairs and in the living room, and she wants that home depot do it yourself hardwood in the dining area and upstairs. She says that it will help with my allergies. As much as I tried to convince her to put that money towards a new heads and cam package, she wouldn't listen to me lol.

yea about every year or so we make an order for the truck, last time was new tires, bed cover, and the drop, so I am looking forward to it big time this time. The truck should really start to come together now

Ok I am very excited about this, just ordered tonight 1. Belltech Street Performance shocks...norcalss 2. Wheatley Tune 3. Autometer c2 AFR gauge kit w/ pillar pod...summit racing 4. Reflexxions cowl hood...stylintrucks As soon as the parts come in I will get some pics up. Can't wait, the truck should definitely wake up some, ride much better, and look better! :thumbs: And the rest of the tax return money the wife wants to put in new flooring in the house which means 1 more work for me, 2 a skip on more parts that I would have wanted to order for the truck, 3 more work for me again, oh well

yea i talked with the wife about it this morning and she was all for it. we even got the grandparents to watch our son for a few days that week. So I will be searching for hotels and getting my registration paid this week. I think we are gonna hit up DC before we go up to Carlisle so we are gonna make a weeks vacation out of it! I'm excited now! Guess im gonna have to order my new hood and tune soon so i can get everything installed before the meet.
