I used mobil1 extended performance 5w30 and a mobil1 filter.

wow i hope mine looks that good a that mileage but thats far down the road since I just rolled 39k miles.

I paid 6.49 a quart from advanced auto parts. we shall see if the motor runs quieter and if I gain any mpg but it does seem to be running smoother then before.

if you read your manual it recommends 91 or higher for the SS but it also says you can safely run 89 with reduced performance but I think anything less then 91 is just plain dumb imo.

I see you have a aem brute force intake did you take off the plate that says aem brute force did it have any holes or anything? The reason im asking is im assuming your intake is powdercoated and I also have a aem bruteforce intake and there is gonna be a powdercoat shop opening up in galesburg an hour from me and I would love to get mine coated blue to match my truck. thanks.

that sux man I would be really upset as well but thats why I dont put stuff like that in my cars unless Im parking it in a garage which im not it would be nice to have stuff like that but you just cant trust anyone these days and hoping someone doesn't mess with your truck just isnt enough anymore. If i had the money i would put up a camera and a damn good alarm on my truck just for my piece of mind.

it could have been worse. A few things I would do different would be to leave the front place bracket off and maybe changed to a 06 ss grill and a hd hood I think it would look good on a blue ss and it prolly is the same price as factory 03 replacments.

well i dont have s.roof but can you just pop it open for like a vent like most cars do? would that still cause a problem?

well first off its his word against yours so your fine especially the fact that he cut you off on purpose dont sweat it your fine. cops cant give tickets for other peoples words so say Im doing a hundred down the interstate and someone in a car calls the cops well I get pulled over and they say I was doing a hundred but they cant prove it so no ticket and thats the end of it just like your situation they cant prove you cut him off nor can they prove he cut you off so no ticket or anything.

that sux for you guys in areas where thats a problem. luckily I havent heard of that being a problem in my area the only problem we seem to have is kids up to no good throwing eggs at cars.
