  3. since no one got hurt.... JUSTICE = SERVED! EDIT: and I'm all for hurting the POS but where you got him with the truck, I'm glad it wasn't worse than it was. No need for the scumbag to walk (or limp/hobble) cuz you get popped for attempted with a motorvehicle.....
  4. good thing you made it home safely!! a torque wrench can be your best friend with certain parts. just make sure you don't overdo it to compensate for not making it tight enough the first time!
  5. i did it, but not sure what i need to do beyond ok'ing it.
  6. wow. I just got home from a 24 hour shift and this was a surprise. I knew there was an upgrade coming but I didn't expect a change like this. Looks good. Miss my truck (and the others from Lebanon Valley) at the top of the page though.....
  7. dude. thats the plate I've been waiting to get once I get a DD and transfer my plates over OR move to NH. whichever happens first. go for it though!
  8. I've been looking to see if anyone posted any pics. I only had my phone so I didn't take any. It was another good time. Good to get the guys together again.
  9. congrats on the win man!! very clean truck! love the Wody's portrait too!!
  10. 1.) I have this odd fear of Rebar. Whether its sticking out of something or laying dormant. I think I saw too many movies in the 80s/90s with guys getting impaled that in my subconscious I must think that I will one day fall and impale myself. So, I keep my distance. 2.) I too am the last male of my name but not 100% I want to have children. I plan on having my family crest/coat of arms tattooed this spring. A plan of mine for years. 3.) I am anal to where everything has its place and can't understand "where are my keys?" or "where did I put (this or that)?" Where you left them is where they should always go. Even worse than that though is the kitchen. I hate kitchen clutter. Especially the sink. I get to the point where if I do the dishes and a single spoon gets put in the sink minutes later, it has to get washed.
  11. brakes are junk. time to FINALLY put on the Baers. I think they will look alot better on the truck than in the boxes too...
  12. the SS rolled out to Worcester today on the back of a flatbed and HOPEFULLY after a quick visit to Ben's ER in the morning she will be fired up for a trip to my old college stomping grounds.
  13. they came the other day. have had internet issues out of the blue so didn't get a chance to let ya know. I'm thinking of making mine a 55 SS or an SS 55 now... or maybe not.
  14. I knew were I was going.... I didnt bother checking the pics of the other trucks. the name was the "hook".
  15. welcome back to the fold Alex!! I too slacked off for a while but the site drew me back in. The weather around here isn't helping either... I gots spring fever!!!
  16. thanks!! sad thing is I wanna get eliminate that and go all black... with the minimal red I have going.
  17. excellent work as always Dylan!! every one of your threads like this makes me want to go out and devote all the time I can to making my truck's paint look as good as I can and hope it's half as nice as your pics when I'm done. Then I realize I live in an apt with no external water hook-up or outside electricity and come to the conclusion that it is all a pipe dream and maybe someday I can do this. Until then, I can only be envious of your work and the finished products. I just wish more detailers put the time and effort into a job as you do.
  18. Oh yes, I almost forgot. Kandy came by in the Tahoe and yes, she does exist.
  19. was that you in the black one going north? it was a good day for alittle roadtrip. Not to mention, great weather. of course now, Emily and I are really wondering why we are wasting our time and (more importantly) MONEY living in Boston when we could move up there. wouldn't really change my commute time much and the stress.... I don't think I need to tell ya how stress free that ride would be. Shuan is correct on the speed of the Albacore. Set the record in '66 and it was already in service for almost 13 years I think at that point. As for the title, I kinda felt the need for an attention getter.
  20. looks good man. love the height!
  21. took a short trip up to Portsmouth, NH for the afternoon and met up at the USS Albacore Museum with Jeff (JF_03_SS). snapped a couple of cell phone pics.
  22. Welcome Home (almost)!!!! To you and everyone else serving or who had served, THANK YOU for your service!!!!!
