Sorry I don't have a close up pic of it, but if you zoom in on the quarter glass (not the roll-up), you can see that I did this on my Impala. Ask your local sign shop to reverse cut your image in "Etchmark Vinyl" and then apply it to the inside of the glass. After it's applied, just tint over it. It gives an etched glass look from the outside, pretty cool actually. I can help you further with it if you like. [email protected]

I'm ready for the season as well...... My boating is a little different than that though. My boat tops out at about 40, but it'll sleep 6 people, has a/c and heat, head a fridge and a microwave. And always in tow behind it is my GP800R in case we need to make a quick trip to land for more beer. I was into "hot boats" for a while, but I traded for the cruiser so the two kids and the wife could have more room. I had a 2001 Stingray 220SX with a 5.7 LT1 with some minor mods. I had it on GPS at about 70, which was plenty fast for a 22' single engine NA boat. One day when I get rich I'll move to a 40' Fountain with a triple set up.

That brings back some memories, I actuall saw Godsmack here at a local band bar with........are ya ready?? Vanilla Ice when he went all hard with his music. Don't shoot me for saying this, but it wasn't all that bad.

Why I fired my secretary Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning. . I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy Birthday!", and possibly have a small present for me As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone "Happy Birthday." I thought... Well, that's marriage for you, but the kids.... They will remember. My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast and didn't say a word. So when I left for the office, I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent. As I walked into my office, my secretary Jane said, "Good Morning Boss, and by the way Happy Birthday! " It felt a little better that at least someone had remembered. I worked until one o'clock, when Jane knocked on my door and said, "You know, It's such a beautiful day outside, and it is your Birthday, what do you say we go out to lunch, just you and me." I said, "Thanks, Jane, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!" We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. She chose instead a quiet bistro with a private table. We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously. On the way back to the office, Jane said, "You know, It's such a beautiful day... We don't need to go straight back to the office, Do We ?" I responded, "I guess not. What do you have in mind?" She said, "Let's drop by my apartment, it's just around the corner." After arriving at her apartment, Jane turned to me and said, " Boss, if you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for just a moment. I'll be right back." "Ok," I nervously replied. She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake . Followed by my wife, my kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing "Happy Birthday. And I just sat there... On the couch... Naked.

I think you're talking about a "Gasser". I"m pretty sure this was being done mostly on drag cars for launching improvements and not so much for looks. Those were very cool cars......

I"m thinking of getting into the hobby of a gas powered R.C. vehicle. I haven't decided if it's going to be a car, plane or a helicopter. Anyone here into this with any advice or pointers? All "in general" stuff I guess. Thanks in advance....

I'd just weigh the cost of keeping the SSS, however, if you did get rid of it then the GTO would be a decent replacement. Definitely not the CTS. This makes me think that I got the best deal on SSS than anyone on here perhaps. I bought mine about a month ago, '04...Black from the original owner with 26k on the clock. His job just got moved to Spain for 5 years and he didn't want the headache of taking the truck with him. I almost feel bad for what I paid for it. Well, it's not a crazy idea by any means. It think it'd be freakin' awesome, Chevy needs to do it, Dodge is. Without a doubt I'm sure they're not doing it due to a low sales forecast. The SRT-10 truck is not selling at all. It'd just be to much of a risk and the buying market for the truck would very limited. Regardless, it would be one insane truck and i'd love to see it happen.
