im getting ready to make a couple of down pipes for the exhaust and when im done ill get it out of the garage and snap a couple more pix of it in better light

ha finally got to get the 300zx outta the garage. with a make shift shifter but hey it worked to drive it around the block. and when its all done with exhaust and a bit of fine tunning this thig is gunna be alot of fun for sure. now gotta go get the trailer so i can take it to get the exhaust guy to look at it and see when he can do it for me .............

Thanks guys wow its not easy making a hood scoop for a flat hood fit a hood with a curve maby this time next year ill stop iching from the fiberglass sanding .............lol

While waiting on a few parts to finally get it done i started fitting the hood scoop. now i rember why i hate body work ...........lol heres a couple of pics.

Not real sure how youd get the one for your truck. i bought mine off the show room floor and recieved the build cert,and cert from DEI a few months after that in the mail. if it was marked as used you may have trouble getting it unless one of the dealers that had it hung on to it for there wall.

well all i have to do now is the power steering and shifter. im going to get the drive shaft made in the morning. I about crapped myself monday when i went to get the price of having it made. Just my luck everything has to be new because of how nissan made the orig one. so for a drive shaft shorted than 3 foot its costing me $360.00 but ill be abole to work on if if need be.

Yes once i get done with the motor job and finish working on the rear wing. he is going to have the doors shaved. and then its off to the body shop for body work and paint.

spent some time in the garage today and finally got everything done enough to prime and fire the new motor in the 300ZX so far everything is coming along well shouldnt be much longer before its on the road and getting alot of attention around here for sure .

I thought GM stamped the vin number in the top side of the frame rail behind the front a frame or crossmember mounting points it may even be under the cab or bed itsself but it is stamped in there some place for sure unless its been ground off ...........

Thanks ill sure check into it sounds alot better than replacing with the same old stuff that will leak again anyway

I knew i didnt want to read that well looks like ill be pricing new lines in the near future for sure ....oh well isnt as bad as most at liest i havent had or will i have the problems the awd owners have guess it could be worse .....

ok had the oild changed today and while under the truck i noticed that the oil cooler lines are both leaking around where the rubberhose and the metal comes together has anyone else had this trouble im out of warrnty and it is alomos 300.00 to ahve the dealer replace them any info on this wold be great thanks alot Dale

if you were closer Chase id set you up with one 3/4 thick slate and everything that goes with it just could use new felt but it would cost a small fortune to ship it to ya so guess im still stuck with it ..............lol

Ive done it when i worked at the dealer here. its not that hard to do at all the seat cover just kinda snaps on the frame. so its easy to remove and replace the heater. if you have access or someone with it alldata should have all the info along with pics to do it ..........

My 2003 silverado did that and i had to take it to the dealer and they replaced something to do with the gas pedal sensor shouldnt cost anything to have it done it was a defect in the part they only replace them if it goes bad so no recall was done .............
