It doesnt lock up anymore and its making my tranny temps run extra hot. I put my snapon computer on it to see if it told me anything. It has a test that allows you to manually lock and unlock the torque converter. You turn on and off the TCC Solenoid. So I went driving above my tuned lockup speed of 50 and when I would hit lockup and unlock. It would lock up but is way looser than it should be. SO it acts like it isnt locking up enough like it used too. Could that be the Torque Converter? Or what do you think?

I think charlie has my timing set around 31-32. If I spray at 50-75 shot, will i need to get some timing removed?

I would just wax it. I dont thing it would crack any easier, these new dashes are made alot dif than the old ones and i dont hardley ever see them crack. I put a flex additive in the clear, so that should help a little.

Haha sure. After we got it all back together the guy said that the glare from the sun is horrible now bc the dash is so shinny. i never thought of that. Made me think twice about doing mine. But mine is prob next.

After priming it and getting all the texture out. I show a black with a sliver crystal pearl and some red accents. Turned out bad ass! The consol and all the door panels are next, doing them this weekend. What do yall think? I know pictures don't do it justice. and pictures of his tailgate and roll pan I did 3 weeks ago.

I could make it down for that if there are some reasonable hotels in the area. Maybe race on a saturday or someing. But it would def have to be the 1/4 track.

Not at all. Thos elT1s arent that impressive. I dont know what mods you have, but my stall really helps me launch hard off the line and the AWD helps also. No why?

Talked to the guy before we ran and he said he had a pulley and something else. He also said his best time was a 13.2. So I figured it would be a good race with me being AWD. We hit a light. And Off the line I pulled hard. Had a lenght or so and he started to pull and ended up passing me around 80. I dont know how his take off was, but I need a cam now and he wouldnt have caught me. It was a nice try though. Allstar raced him also from 20 and was neck and neck at 80. Also Killed a new eclipse, and an LT1 trans am. Raced a heavily moded WRS that ran a 12.5 and got smoked from the get go. Ohh well though now its time for a cam. Daniel

Yeah. It really doesnt look bad though. If ihad to chose between that roll pan not welded or welded. Welded looks so much cleaner.

To make a long story short, this roll pan was on the truck when I bought it. Previous owner put it on it. I didnt know about the BSER at the time. And one night i got the urge to fiddle with my truck and I welded it in. It looks better in person than pictures. I get alot of mixed emotions about it. plus I have the hidden hitch and I can still pull my boat

it depends how that TB stall works out. Mine will spool to around 3600 i dont think that tbstall will go that high. I would definatley look into getting a tune by Charlie Wheatley. My truck runs real well and his prices are like $275 with lifetime upgrades for free. If your ever in houston he will do an inperson tune for free. He is prob one of the best in the business besides allen nelson, but he is getting close. www.gowheatley.com. Go check him out man and give him a call. So the ride quality woud be ok? The hangers will lower the back 2 more. I already have the shakcles in the back so that would be 4 total and the keys would lower the front 2?

The rear is shackles and hangers. How do the torsion keys work?

I ran a 13.78 with a tune, CAI, Transgo Shift Kit, 3000 Stall, Pacesetter LTs, No Cats, with Cutouts open. I think for all of the N/A guys alot of it has to do with what kind og Tune you are running. My Tune alone dropped me .5 on my 1/4.

Someone from ls1truck has a 2/4 drop kit for his Z71 that he never put on. He said to comes with shackles hangers, and torsion keys. Will that work for out trucks? Or is it not a safe way to go. He wants $150 for the kit.

Been searching Stylinconcepts, summit, and jegs and cant find one for our trucks!! Can someone get me a link? I want to drop it and dont want to spend a hell of alot of money. I already have leveling shackles.

COPENHAGEN! It has a better taste. I used to dip the Skoal Vanilla but grew out of it.
