Do you have the base model kit other than the 12# spring or do you have upgrades?

Just to let you know I am by no means experienced or very knowledgeable when it comes to hands on experience with forced induction. I have been reading as much as I can find and I hope to decide on my first set up and install it on my truck soon. There was an STS Turbo for sale locally so I went to check it out. It was installed on a 2003 SS , the guy said it was running 5lb's of boost. He had the intercooler upgrade, the GT65 Turbo upgrade, and a programmer ( I believe it was a predator ) After going for a ride I was not impressed! I was expecting to find myself pined back in the seat. That was not the case.... I honestly think my truck would be pretty well matched with his. I have a short bed, 2x, regular cab, internally stock 5.3 lm7, 4l60e, K&N, functional shaker hood, (Recently gutted Cats) with Cat Back Borla duel exhaust, and a hyperteck 3 power programmer. Maybe his truck is just worn out and tired but he had receipts showing that the kit was only 6 months old. I personally hope that his set up just wasn't tuned correctly because I really like the idea of being able to pop the hood and have no sign of F/I.

You can count me in if it happens. I just bought a laptop and I'm ready for the program.

I know Airlift Makes a kit for lowered 2 wheel drive GM trucks.

I figured it'd move pretty quick on here... O well I guess you guys think $300 is to high, I guess I drop it down to $250 and see if it sells. If not I guess its back to Ebay........

If you are still in need I have a few lying around. I have 1 JL audio 1000/1 and a pair of Sony Explod 1000 watt 2 channel amps. the JL is slightly used and the Sony's have never been hooked up. Let me know if either would work for you.

That's total BS as far as I'm concerned - I've been running gutted cats for over 35K-miles now. Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bet it sounds alot better than the high flows too

Well Im 22 years old collage student with a house and truck payment. In other words Im broke lol I was hoping that I'd get away with cutting them out completely but if it is going to damage my engine I'll get the high flows.

I'm just looking for a little input one what you guys think. I have a set of Pacesetter long tube's getting ready to be installed but I don't want to mess my engine up. I've heard of problems with valve floating and story's of messing the compression up when you remove the cats and run nothing but mufflers.

I'm really not looking for any stereo equipment, I already have a ton of it just setting around that I need to sell. The only thing that I would consider other than cash would be performance mods that would work on my 2000 5.3 or the rims and I do have cash to add to the deal if needed. Cash or other stereo stuff if someone would be interested. Thanks for the offers though!

What did you do with your Cats? hook up an X pipe or anything?

There are a few style's I'd like to have but I'm not to picky just something that will look good on my truck. 20's really do look kind of small on my truck so Id prefer 22's. what do ya have?

I drove an hour and a half to meet a guy I was going to buy a set of wheels and tires from but they didn't fit He was obviously in need of some money and offered this to me at a fair price so I took it out of his truck in the Sams Club parking lot. He says there is about 2 months left on the warranty from Best Buy and he is mailing me the receipt, and the rest of the paperwork including the owners manuals that came with it. I am selling it for $800. that is HALF of what best buy is selling it for right now! and I don't believe best buy includes the back up camera set up that I am including in my sale. It is cosmetically flawless and works perfectly. I installed it in my truck so I can enjoy it till someone buys it. that is where the video is shot at. One thing I really like about it is the display that is featured at the beginning of the video. you can pick what info it shows ( Vehicle Voltage, Vertical angle, The Acceleration and Stopping G force. Turning G force and much more!) if someone is within 100 miles of Panama City, FL and has a set of 20 or 22 inch wheels and tires with a 6 x 5.5 lug pattern I would be interested in working some kind of trade out. I checked and auto zone offers the same part number for both a 2000 and a 2005 GMC truck so hopefully it'll work. if you know that it wont please let me know.
