  1. I just wanted to add that I have Hotchkis front and rear sway bar kits and there is no comparison to stock. It is hard for me to give an accurate assessment of them because the sway bars were installed at the same time the truck was dropped. I wanted to get an idea of how much it helped so before it was dropped I took a really sharp off ramp and I made it to right around 35 miles an hour before the back end broke lose, the body role was horrible! After the truck was complete I straight to the same off ramp, I attempted it 3 times before I finally got comfortable enough with it and the final try I made it just a little over 75 miles an hour and spun the truck around and off into the grass. needless to say I'm happy with the improved handling.
  2. One Ported W6 is going to hit harder than 2 of the W3's would no mater what kinda box you put them in. I have a 12 inch W6 in a ported box that I put in my truck it hits harder than one 10 inch W7. I had a 13W7 in a sealed JL wedge box with a 1000/1 JL amp pushing it and the 12W6 is almost as loud with a 500/1 JL amp on it! I think the W6 would hit as hard if not harder than the 13W7 if I had the 1000/1 on it.
  3. I'm dropping the price to $300. I had the pleasure of talking to Renee with Xtang today. She informs me that the price giving to me was a BS price and that the highest MSRP they have on a cover is just under $500 She says you can add the color option for under a hundred bucks. You can find them cheaper online. usually $200-400 (with out the custom color top) So if your looking for the Trifecta, the ExtangRT, or there new Express tonno you'd be getting a deal with my certificate. The cheapest price I could find was through the site Kim just posted. www.truckaddons.com The three of them run from $320 to $380 depending on which you want. They don't mention the custom color option You'd probably have to email them to get a price on that. Happy Holidays everybody!
  4. I'll have to call up Extang today and see what they have to say. I know when I looked at there bed covers I found the same as you with the most expensive being about $450. But that didn't include the color top or any of there other accessories. I don't know how much extra those things cost, hopefully I'll find out today. I'm not trying to rip anybody off I'm just trying to get my money back out of it. I'm guessing I might have to save it for my next truck or loose money on it which I'd rather not do. I'll reply when I get more info!
  5. could you post a link or an auction number?
  6. I saw another video similar to this online somewhere. the guy almost makes it to the top he gets it sideways and roles it on it side. It starts to roll back over and down the hill but the guy gives it everything the truck has and he actually saved it! than he just hauls ass down the hill! I'll try to find the video! Here it is! Hill Climb & Fall!
  7. I have tried to sell this thing on ebay like 2 times now but no body seems to want it. It is a gift certificate for ANY bed cover for any make/model truck that extang offers. I won it at the charity action last year than decided to go with a fiberglass toneau cover. I called up Extang and they told me it is valued at up to $750 dollars, I'm just trying to get my $350 back out of it. They offer several different stlye soft tonneau covers. The key feature that convinced me to buy it in the first place is you can order whatever custom color you want so the cover will match your truck. I have yet to see anybody with one other than in black so you'd definatly have something original! you can check out there stuff at: Extang! If you want to verify that it is a valid certificate just call up the phone number at the web site and ask for Renee Dettling <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  8. I think its more of what you like better. Ive seen both on SS and they both look good in my opinoin! Just dont copy off my shaker hood and I'll be happy
  9. What program did you buy? are you happy with it? I have a Hypertec Powerprogramer III and I didn't notice a gain in horse power or torque. I did have a noticeable increase of about 3 MPG but that is only when I run it on the premium fuel mode so it isn't really cost effective. over all I think it was a waste of two hundred and fifty bucks!
  10. 18 mpg average out of a 2WD LM7 with K&N Intake, Cat Back Exhaust, and HyperTec Power Programer III stet to run only premeium. The hardest thing on my MPG would be the 22 year old lead foot (me) behind the wheel
  11. Hey do you have anymore pics of that set up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just have this one from the other side of the engine and than this one with the hood closed Id take some better pics but Im without a digital camera right now. I did have to start a new acount if you noticed the change in my user name. Id never get far enough from my truck to get online if I had an LS7 HAHAHA!
