  2. Norcalss how is that kit with towing? Any problems? Just bought my 03 ss awd and don't know much about lowering vechicles...thnx

usually on the 4 inch drop in rear i do the belltech c notch for people who tow. The c notch actaully boxes in the frame fully making it stronger and then it has the brackets on it where you can add belltechs helper bag kit and tows fine.

My buddy has a 05 i lowered 4 inches in rear and he tows his trailblazer ss to the track with the c notch/helper bag kit without issues and we all know the trailblazer ss is at a hefty 5000 plus pound weight

  3. How low can I drop my truck if I have 22" rims

I would like to drop it 2" in the front and 4" in the back may be a little more if possible

    how wide are the rims?

    what offset are the rims?

what size tires are on the rims?

Tell me that and I can dial it all in for you

    Tony

  4. Tony I'm Jeff the one texting you today about the gloss black Sierra reps. Still haven't decided on what size wheel to go with yet but planned on going with the 3/4 drop you sell. Just wanted to see what the measurements on the belltech sp shocks to possible see if Koni made any adjustable shocks with the same measurements that could possibly work for the truck. I've had a lot of good experience with Koni on imports in the past. Just curious what else is out there for a more "performance" handling feel for these heavy ass trucks lol

Koni doesnt make the ends that are needed only for max 2 inch drop. no 20 inch long ones they make

  5. I have searched all the posts and I still have some questions. I have an 03 awd, and my questions are if I go 3 inches in the front will it damage my cv axels? And in the rear I want to go the full 4 inches will that throw off my driveline at all? The kit I'm looking at is from NorCal it's the one for 735 has anyone else bought this, and if so how do you like it and could you post some pics for me ? Also I may just go 2 inches in the front and 4 in the back. I like the raked look and if anyone has done that could you post some pics as well. Thanks everyone and happy thanksgiving !!!

ive been installing this kit since late 2002 when i lowered a customers first sss that came to dealer here. he has over 220 thousand miles no issues. Yes changed balljoints and bushings in arms and shocks.. you can adjust the kit from 2-3 in front and 3-4 in rear to get it to the height you want.

  6. for 2 inches I would not do keys. ride suffers a lot. Belltech spindles is what I usually go with or the djm arms. I like the djm arms better becuase adjustable 2-3 inches new balljoints and bushings but requries belltech sp shocks which make it ride nice.

    Spindles only 280 shipped

djm 3 inch arms/belltech sp shocks 450 shipped

  7. thanks for all the replys, I have a lowering kit now, but im not sure what one. I want to go lower, I can see that I have nitto drop shocks if that says anything ?

    Here you go.

this is the kit ive installed for over 10 years now on silverado ss trucks. Excellent ride.

lets start with the front. The a arms are adjustable 2-3 inches and new lower balljoints and new lower bushings plus no loss in turning radius and mated up to the belltech sp shocks your set

in rear the kits adjsutable 3-4 inches. That way you can dial in the height and if your at a 4 inch level and does bottom out you can lift it to 3 inches. The belltech sp shocks in rear will make ride nice also.

Any other questions just ask i do a lot of these trucks

  8. Went down to my buddys shop at ASP in daly city CA and we mounted the tires on. The 295 30 26 lexanis are taller than the 305 35 24 buy a bit.

We just mounted 1 tire and didnt have wheel weights in flat black so my buddy trevor gave me a batch said go at it. He knows I have OCD and the gloss black weights they had would bother me so ended up doing them all in flat black

Well mounted was 88.4 pounds i savings of almost 9 pounds off the 305 35 24.

The rear tires im not going to attempt to put on. Due to my truck being so low it sucks the rear end forward so im going to try to get to work tomorrow and weld on the autoride link to my upper rear spohn bars. I will be setting the top at 1/2 inch longer then stock and lowers at 3/4 inch longer then stock to give more negative pinion angle so better bite when I launch plus will keep pinion angle closer to 0. Only thing that sucks it will lift the truck up a little but i need to move them back.

wow thats ridiculous ! who in their right mind would put rims that heavy on their car...

actaully these wheels weight as much as the oem 22x9 with a 285 45 22
