  2. +2 on the cats, thats why i always cut them off so i dont run into this kind of problem
  3. Try Oregan Performance they sell a lot on ebay....a few of us have ordered from them, they have fast shipping. Only bad thing is what if you broke more then that, i would tear it down see what you need then order the parts so you know for sure
  4. get you a nice oversized band for the 2-4 and dont drive it till you get it fixed for sure...will just cause more damage
  5. when i lost 2nd it took 4th with it, i broke the band. I was only part throttle also and it shifted to 2nd then went into nuetral and then i had 3rd but still no 4th...it sucked
  6. thats pretty badass....i like it a lot...i have my gauges down in that area also...went all digital so its easier to read though
  7. what are these cats you speak of? people still run those things.....but seriously if you do stock ones are just are good as aftermarket ones...why would you replace them anyways?

pretty badass...congrats guys! big deal is that the tuning world for Dodge is way worse then chevy...they dont have the luxury of hptuners...efilive... and so forth they only really have SCT and that thing still sucks balls....if a pretty good accomplishment on there part to get that thing to do what it has
  11. i have an 04 LS6 cam with about 10k miles on it....make me an offer i cant refuse...thinking about putting it in my tahoe
  12. Come on guys lets get a good showing for the SS trucks...this is a GM truck only event looks to be quite a few going...i have also caught wind that a few TBSS's will be there also! http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/gatherings-...aceday-sar.html
  13. the pistons were custom cut to accomodate the longer rod
  14. well i called it's bored .10 with the longer rod...we called Diamond and they gave us the compression ratio with my 317 heads and its at 9.4:1....i was just misunderstood when he originally told me....im no machinist and try to stay away from the bottom end on motors and leave that to the peole who really know which isnt me lol
  15. i thought the piston determined the compression ratio along with the cc on the head
  16. explain? i could have misunderstood him when he told me...
  17. nothing wrong with heads that have been on a nitrous motor...my heads looked fine this weekend...intake runners actually stay clean with the spray...no oil build up or anything
  18. yes sir therefore it gives the motor a longer stroke
  19. its not .30 over it has a 6.25 stroke instead of the 5.988 still the stock bore...actually just found that out 30 min ago
  20. well here's a couple of pics from the swap this weekend........i will start it up today after work i didnt have the valley pan gasket, i will get video of the start up
  21. im saying a single turbo is like a cyclopse (sp?)
  22. sad part is thats the old 6.0...they new one is still on the ground outside of the truck lol
  23. the setup above is a gmperformance parts intake and elbow...i just got my setup from Summit they had the best prices on the Vic Jr intake and elbow and the Edelbrock allows you to bolt up your stock 78mm TB....you can run your stock rails you will just have to "modify" the hold downs for the rail
  24. ahh grasshopper with low boost and a good tune in the tahoe my gas mileage will improve and also be a good Towhoe for the truck But anyways i was feeling froggy last night...i got the whole top and front of the motor pulled off all that i have left is to unbolt the trans and motor mounts and the old 6.0 is out!
