  1. nah that involves to much, its been doing a good job of locking now...i just figured if they did i might as well replace it while im in there, getting away from nitrous and doing a TT setup, reason for the lighter gears

  9. well its about time to go a different route, i love nitrous and the kind of torque it makes but i want something different never have had a turbo and the only way i will change over is to sell the nitrous and be slow so i will be forced to buy the turbo kit so here it is. Nitrous Dave's plate kit, has the big boy solenoids and the plate is a single stage plate that was made into a 2 stage plate can handle a 250 shot, 2 nitrous solenoids and 2 fuel solenoids all needed lines, buttons, WOT switch, Relays, everything is here including a 15lb bottle (sticker will be removed) and an 860° bottle heater bracket... Stand Alone System was built by LG Motorsports so you know its the best of the best this kit was on my friends 06 zo6, it made 815rwhp with this stand alone and the same kit i have on the truck....the kit comes with 3/4 gallon aluminum fuel cell, Bosch inline pull pump rated to 700hp, Aeromotive FPR, all line are there, the system is setup at 58psi but you can set it however you want... Asking $1,300obo everything is in great working order and will be off the truck after this weekend this was right when i got the heads and stuff on before i cleaned it up, but you can see the plate has 4 lines going into it for 2 stages
  10. TM who needs it...i put bottles and bottles through my stock trans without TM...lasted bout 6 months running mid to high 12's

  12. few months back mine weighed 5425 with 1/2 a tank and me in it....last week with no seats tailgate or trailer hitch gas light on and me in it was 5045

  15. my 20's just wont cut it anymore....since the heads and intake my best 60 is a 1.70 and that was on just the first stage...when i come out on the 200 it goes 1.73-1.75's...so i now have a set of 16's with 4 hoosier quick time pros, 28 x 11.5 x 16...i wont be at the track for a few weeks still waiting to get the rims back from powder coating...but i want to see some 1.5 60's with the weight reduction and grip i will get
  16. take the rims to the powder coater...the guy i used can machine faces and polish and all the good stuff, even rim repairs
  17. doing it on the dyno is okay but for any period of time driving on the road...not okay...btw it wont leak...leave it in and deal with the gas mileage lol...now i have done that on a 4wd truck but that cause you can put the t-case in 2wd

  20. i was gonna go 29's but driving on 4 full slicks doesnt sound to fun to me and i wanna drive on these on the street sometimes like to the "local" races so i wanted something with thread and not nittos cause i wanted a real DR and M&H are the only ones making a treaded DR right now and for the 16 all they have is a 28 x 10 so thats where i am lol, if you want to email me a log i can take a look at it and tell you what you might be missing, i have a friend that shows me tips and stuff on what to do, he's a pretty good tuner...your sprayed right?
  21. i got the aluminums and a friend gave me 2 used M&H's for the front and im just gonna buy new for the back, i know those stock 20's of mine weigh almost 100lbs each and the 16's with tires will wiegh half of that and add more gearing going to a 28" from a 31 1 /2"...who does your tuning? Could you imagine 2 red/blacked out SS's running 11's down the track together...priceless
  22. well thank you very much...i havent yet tried on dry pavement but i m here in the next week...my converter isnt happy with me right now so i have a yank on the way, you just have to get that front right one to spin and its all over from there lol....i may be down for a road trip up that way once gas prices drop back down a little bit...are you spinning with those 60's? i just picked up 4 16" rims and they are at the powder coater...going flat black with those and got 4 M&H 28 x 10 tires to put on for the track...gonna see what happens here in the next week or so
  23. i think cause we both have blacked out grille and rims and all that stuff....we need to get some pics of our trucks together lol...i did one day get a donut pavement was a little damp from some rain and it was on asphalt...they are fun to do in these trucks
  24. Same here...he is painting it black and red...theres already pics of the install and mods you have to make so the tbss intake can fit on there....i did the swap and i picked up 57rwhp between the heads and intake on motor
  25. Nitrous is a great thing to have when not in the hands of idiots who dont know what they are doing
