AlanR
Yes it is true - Washing my truck at the car wash today a German driving by stopped and asked to see my truck. He had read about them and knew quite a bit. He asked if I would sell it as is for 25,000 Euro (roughly $32,500 with the reconversion rate). I immediately told him no. He left and came back and said he would give me 27,000 ($35K) but that was as high as he would go. I sent him on his way again....but if I had my calculator with me it may have been a different story. Oh well, I didn't want to wait 4 months for another one anyway. smkdu
Good call sending him off! If you spend enough time(and money) on a vehicle then it becomes a part of you. A person who truly loves their vehicle would never sell except for maybe a we'll say "generous" offer. As for me if mine breaks down I'll just rebuild, got all the goodies all lined up.
