CraigW
One Idea about buffing that gets over looked alot start with the least abrasive product as possible you can alway get more abrasive. Meguairs makes some nice buffing pads and compounds that make it easy for less experienced people to use a buffer safely. Plus the compounds abrasive deminishes as you buff so you end up without the scratches even using a cutting compound. If anyone is interested call meguairs 1-800-347-5700 And ask for a Professional catalog. 1. Softbuff foam cutting pad 2. Softbuff foam polishing pad 3. Softbuff foam finishing pad 1. Dual action cleaner/polish 2. Swirl remover 3. Polymer sealant Use coresponding numbers with that product and results are stunning and durable. Oh yes I have a Milwaukee variable speed buffer and porter cable dual action polisher.

Lee
It's easy to leave it alone when it's not running, trust me. Ben, I've been away from the forum since Oct. sometime. You were doing a lot of engine work then. Is your ride still not back on the road?
