woodwardspecialties Posted February 22, 2005 Report Share Posted February 22, 2005 well... title explains it. a stupid deer ran out in front of me... i never saw it comming... one time i actually was doing the speed limit and all... BOOM! it jumped off a sidewalk and dead dmack in the front of my truck.... i locked up the brakes quick... but not quick enough... deer died immediatly ... (im glad it didnt suffer) .... but my poor SS... cracked the crap out of the bumper cover, right side air scoop, and lower grill. damage isnt that bad... but all of the parts are cracked up pretty good.... could have been much much worse... but im still extremely pissed! woodwardspecialties Posted February 22, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 22, 2005 im fine... i wasnt going all that fast... didnt hurt any of the structure of the truck... i really would have been pissed if it hurt the hood or lights or something... i know the bumper panel etc is going to be pricey... but luckily a buddy of mine runs a body shop... and he has the extra paint from painting my cowl hood... ill have it in there this weekend getting fixed up hopefully... unfortunaly i have to cruise around with it all banged up in the frt. for a few days.
