d walker
Mark yes very common--do a search I think we have all had this problem some of the guys have had their front diff replaced but probably not necessary
03SCSS
opps..... I just posted the same issue above. I didn't see this the first time that I flipped through. I have have the same "problem"? from the begining. I seems like it has become worse over time. It has gotten to the point where if I slightly turn the wheel (off the gas), I hear the noise. My dealer did not even put it on the lift...they said that it was normal. I am hardly convinced. Good luck.
CoolBlueSS
I think they all have the noise. I just changed my front doff fluid this past weekend, and it's quieter now. The noise is still there, but not near as bad.
J. Yates
I just went today and the dealer told me that they are having issues with the intermediate steering shaft and will replace it under warranty I also learned this from some guys from this site. I get mine fixed today at 2:
cerbomark
steering shaft is another whole issue and noise. Not the same.
LOUI1313
I have the same 'problem.' I don't think there is anything really wrong with it. Thats just how it is. If it seems abnormally loud, I would look into fixing it, but I think it is just the 4X4.
