GrandSport Posted July 15, 2003 Report Share Posted July 15, 2003 After seeing several Silverado SS pickups sprinkled around the Corvette 50th birthday celebration, I came home and did a little shopping. With $5k in rebates, I think I made out very well at just over $31k for my Arrival Blue one. I took delivery on 7/12/2003. How do you find out about the build date of the truck. I know this one has been sitting at the dealers for at least 1 month. As soon as I decide what shape the stripe should be, I'll add a GrandSport stripe and red hash marks to it. It should make for an incredible picture to have the SS parked next to the GS! Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wait until after the stripe is painted to Zaino it. That way I can call my truck on it's birthday, just like my mother does to me every year in the wee hours of the night to tell me about the pane she went through to get and have me.
