SS Option
Does the mufler #12599 have a x-pipe or some sort of "eqaulizer" in it or will the purchase of a x-pipe be necessary? Is this muffler going to be louder that stock. I want it decent sounding but not enoungh to wake the neighbors ahh forget the neighbors . GEMINIWHEELS
Go to Magnaflow's web sight. Listen to the 6.0 Escalade. The muffler your talking about should sound very similar to that system. If you're putting it on a 6.0 SS. The muffler doesn't come with an x-pipe. That can be ordered seperately, but I think the muffler it self will act as an equalizer.
m396 #00-011
You'll have to call Magnaflow's tech support to find out for sure. Some of the dual in/dual outs have a pseudo x- pipe incorporated into the design.
