XM to Sirus conversion?

I ordered my parts yesturday. $154.00 for both pieces. By by XM.

Run a search the soundgate can be had for much less than thier web sites price.

Brand new kenwood sir-ken1 on ebay for $50.

Well worth it to get Sirius.

 

yes, brand new sir-ken1 on ebay for $50 but all of them are $20 plus dollars shipping which makes it around $70. And yes the soundgate box can be had for much less then on the soungate web site. Got mine from beach audio for $75.

Cool, glad to here about all the converts, Sirius rules :devil:

 

BTW, the original KNGM1 was developed for the Kenwood SR-901. Kenwood then created the SR-902 as the antenna and connections were downsized from 2 into 1. Soon after, Sirius moved production away from manufactures to once source that would make adapters for all makes. Thus the Sir-Ken1 was born. Soundgate had no choice but the keep make revisions to make there product work with the latest tuner, working out a few bugs along the way. My first KNGM1 was v4, but was fried during service at the dealership. My next v6 has been working pretty good with only a few hiccups along the way.

 

Let me know what ver # you guys get as you recieve your adapters.
