montanass Posted October 8, 2005 Report Share Posted October 8, 2005 Just searched the web on SS anything and couldn't find jack, Maybe they'll put the 6.2L 380 hp engine in it and the new automatic 6 speed with the touch button shift, like what's going into the 2007 Denali's. Its a question of sheer mass as I see it. Ppl know the big trucks arent selling well, nor liklely to ever be as big a seller as they have been. Ford is going to do some kind of SVT Explorer Sport Track, Chevy is doing the TBss---I think therein will lie the heat of sport trucks for a few years to come. SilveradoSSobsession Posted December 4, 2005 Report Share Posted December 4, 2005 I rember hearing on GMinsidenews that they planned on having an 07 SSS with a SUPERCHARGED LS2. What would really help this model out is if they had two models of the SS, the Standard SS with an LS2 for a lower price point, and the SS SUPERCHARGED with the blower, just like they did with the Monte Carlo and the Cobalt.
