rico750sxi
AWD kind of prevents a dyno tune.
GEAR M UP
Its takes no time to drop out the front drive shaft. Most of the dyno guys are already doing it on the Typhoon’s & Cyclone’s. My goes on next week.
BenKey
I don't think you need to do it for the cyclone/typhoon because their wheelbase is much smaller compared to ours, which I think is 143".
GEAR M UP
No, the point was that they are AWD also. Just unhook the front drive shaft and dyno it.
MustBBrent
The numbers from Superchips were +27hp and +34lb/ft. These numbers are for the SS. Did you ask them to prove the #'s I would like to see it. Amazingly enough, those are the same numbers for the Diablo... on all HO 6.0l motors. hmmmm. Do you smell something or is it just me? SuperDave
I installed my tuner yesterday. Haven't driven it much, just to the tennis courts last night. Installed it with the default program from SuperChips. I can tell a huge difference in the upshifts, and shift firmness. Other than that, I haven't driven it enough yet. More to come later. rico750sxi
Keep us posted, I'm still undecided on what route to go with my PCM. The shifts are firm and quick now? What type of options come on the superchips, what can you customize and change?
jhagman15
Just got the tuner a couple days ago and have been trying it out quite a bit. Shifting is much quicker and is firmer. You can really feel it shift more now. On my truck, 2nd became a lot stronger. Haven't checked to see what the speed limiter is increased to or if it is just removed. As far as options go, you can change the height of you tires, gear ratio, shift points. It was definitely worth the investment.
SSminneapolis
as far as speed....i have had mine up to almost 120...i was running out of road...didn't think the cornering of the SS at 100 mph was going to be to good...
