CrAzYMoPaRGuY
I went with an X pipe, I think it *can* provide a small power increase, as well as dampen sound. There are many different theories as to converging intersection sizes, angles, opening sizes etc. Dr. Gas has a forum on his site now where questions can get answered, he seems to know a fair bit..? kaotik1
That is a hot little set-up. I like the coating on it, and the fact that they are flow cut and not notch cut for the X.
Generalms02
When I was looking into mufflers I talked with Don at Flo~Pro about this. He told me that an x-pipe is not required (or helpful) on a dual in muffler. There is plenty of cross flow between the pipes inside the muffler. For dual muffler setups, the concensus (on this site) has always been very positive for those adding an x-pipe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks! That helped a lot! I think I'm going to go with the dual in dual out muffler.... -Jonathan
sandmanss
Adding a X pipe will help performance and help keep unwanted noise levels down inside the cab. HOWEVER, the performance gain will only come if your runnung a true dual setup.
