The only part I don't understand?

Doesn't a dead stock Z06 Corvette beat a dead stock Ford GT?

I would have raced a modded Ford GT against a dead stock Corvette Z06 if I wanted to have a race with a chance of a dead heat, I'm pretty sure the Z06 should beat the GT BEFORE the added mods...?

:dunno:

I could be wrong, but I thought the GT would edge the Z06 stock vs. stock... not sure :dunno:

See? Now you have us BOTH confused!

I thought the GT was an 11.7, near identical to the best times for a Viper, and I thought the Z06 would eventually hit the track and beat them both by a couple of tenths..?

I think the Z06 has gone 11.5ish, I know it has already run an 11.7 somewhere..?

So it looks like you're right... the Z06 is couple ticks faster in the 1/4.... thats even more depressing IMO if you're a GT owner. But it does look like it carries an edge on mixed driving based on the lap times.

I've seen quicker 1/4 mile road tests for all three of them..?

:dunno:

At least they are usable numbers if they tested them at the same time/place?
