There is something called an extender cap. This pin cap will add .150 to the length of your pin before grinding(if it's too long with the extender). Place cap on pin, then use a hammer to strike the tip down until the cap bottoms out. Then grind the pin tip to the desired length. With the servos installed you should be able to take a pry bar and compress it slightly...that's how you'll know it's too long. Check out www.superior-transmission.com for some more answers. :pop: I'm waiting with baited breath to find out what your problem is. I'm installing a TB Stall in a few weeks, then doing the billet servos, metal accum. piston, and a few other things a few weeks after that.

I went to www.superior-transmission.com and only saw a bunch of products being listed... no help there... :dunno:

Superior is who has those extender caps...try a local trans shop as they may be able to get one of those caps thru their suppliers. How far can you compress the side cover with everything installed? I was told that you can put washers over the end of the pin to make it longer. Superior has a tech line I believe and they are the ones who make the servos and should be able to give you some help. I wish I were more of a trans expert. Also try here about half way down the page they show a longer pin that is available. That is probably what you need if you don't want to lengthen yours. I thought it was funny that servo kit didn't come with a longer pin(mine didn't either)
