KR total of 9* at WOT

I had to take my exhaust off after the cats because i hit a piece of metal in the road and it bent up my exhaust. I have been driving it for a few days like this three miles back and forth to work and thats it. To make a long story short i had to take my exhaust off. Now i knoticed that my truck has slowed down quite a bit and has actually started to noticebly pull timming from the tune. So today i borrowed my buddys Snap On SOLUS scanner and watched the KR and total timming and under WOT only its pulling a total of 9*out. Does anyone know if taking my exhaust off would affect the amount of KR im getting? Also, ever since i have had my tune my truck has been a total dog off the line especially when i stall it to 2400. Its like when i let off the brake and hit the gas it jumps and then falls on its face and after 3200 rpm or so it will pull hard to redline and then never look back. I have not been able to try stalling for a take off with the scanner yet because it has been raining where i live for the past few days and the roads are wet. It stopped raining today and the roads are drying out so i think im going to try seeing what amount of KR im getting when i stall. cause if i just stomp the gas from a stop it seems to not fall on its face as much. If anyone has any ideas as to what is wrong with my truck please let me know.

Ill have to see what my o2's are reading at WOT. I havent really had the time to really dig into all the details as far as watching everything at WOT cause i dont have anybody to drive my truck while im watching everything. Im going to be putting a new exhaust on soon but ill have to post in another forum about that.

Tommorow Im going to try to get the service manager where i work to watch the scanner for me while i drive since he seems to be a genius when it comes to these things.

Does anyone know why my take off is so slow when i stall my truck and its better when i just sit there and punch it?

The roads were dry enough for me to test my take off but the fog was way to heavy to even go 45 so ill have to try tommorow to see what is happening when i stall and when i dont.

I havent had a chance to go to the track yet but when i g teched my truck it only went 14.8 at 102mph. Thats all i really have to go by as far as track times. I know G tech isnt as accurate as an actuall racetrack but thats all i have. I do know that 102 is a hell of a MPH for only a 14.8. I know those 20's are hard to turn but I think i should be at least a low 14 to high 13 with a trap speed like that.

Does anyone on here have a VHO with a cam? If so what are your times?

I have all day tommorow to play with my friends scanner so if anyone can think of anything i might need to look at in particular please let me know.

Get the exhaust put back on - why waste your time looking at what it is doing while it is off? Any reading you get while off will be useless if you are planning to put it back on. Sounds like it has created a lean condition and with that much KR, I wouldn't want to be hammering it testing it out with a scanner that will give me readings of how I don't plan to keep my truck.

Do you plan to leave it that way?

make sure since you removed your exhaust that nothing is hitting the frame rail. at wot your engine will twist and you could possible be picking up knock from you headers hittign the frame if you have them. fix your bent exhaust and put it back on.

I did like yall said and put my exhaust back on. I had to weld up a 6" gash in one of the mufflers but i got it back on but it will do for now. At least i didnt use beer cans and bailing wire. I had to give my buddy his scanner back. But im going over there tonight to borrow it again and i will drive while his looks at the scanner and watches everything. So hopefully the KR issue will go down. Before i had my exhaust off i could still feel it pull timming out but when i took off my exhaust it really made it noticeable. Anyway thanks for all the info and ill see how much putting my exhaust back on did and how much KR its pulling out now.
