GEAR M UP
How does the Escalade compare with the Silverado SS? Acceleration, 1/4 mile, curb weight? how about the Yukon Denali? Escalade or the EXT?
rgcbshrty
The regular versions of the Escalade and Yukon Denali not the extended. How much heavier are they compared to the SS? I imagine they shouldn't be too far off acceleration wise, although the Denali is down on hp/tq.
dcairns
Edmunds rates the AWD Escalade as 16.6 in the 1/4 mile and 8.5 in the 0-60 run and claims a Curb Weight: 5571 lbs.
seintempe
I have an '02 Denali and just bought the SS, I would say the SS feels a little slower, like it is heavier. Don't know if this is true, though. The other thing is that the SS isn't broken in, less than 200 mi so it will probably be quicker after a few hundred miles or so. You might give all us newbee's a bad name. Why not try next time to explain your thoughts in reguler words and leave your poorly hidden meanings back on the Ford site. And don't try that old one about having a Blue SS as an excuse.
